Highlights

MOMBASA – TSAVO WEST (240 KM – Approx. 4 hours)

Tsavo National Park West - Meal Plan: Lunch, Dinner

The safari kicks off with a pick-up from your beach hotel or resort. We’ll travel along the picturesque Mombasa – Nairobi Highway, taking in views of farmlands and the Kenyan countryside.

The trip includes several stops for stretching and refreshments. You’ll appreciate the landscape of Tsavo West almost as much as its wildlife. Here, you’ll embark on game drives over rolling hills and grassy savannah, passing volcanic lava beds and lush oases. In addition to the big game, keep an eye out for smaller creatures like bushbaby, lesser kudu, and dik-dik.

After lunch, we’ll head to a special site in the park – the 90 sq. km rhino sanctuary. This protected area is home to over 80 of the endangered, nocturnal animals. With some luck, we might spot one of these massive but elusive rhinos.
Our safari evening will be spent at your choice of a safari lodge or tented camp.

TSAVO WEST – AMBOSELI (100 km – Approx. 2.5 hrs.)

Amboseli National Park - Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

We’ll rise early to explore two national parks today!

One of the highlights of Tsavo West is a spring-fed oasis called Mzima Springs. Mzima means “life” in Swahili, and here we will find many forms of life at these nourishing waters – hippo, crocodile, exotic fish, and birds.

We’ll explore the shaded banks of the springs on foot and observe other wildlife like zebra and giraffe that are drawn to this area.

Our final game drive will take us to the park’s borders and a relatively short trip to Amboseli Park to the south.

You might be able to track your journey to the park as the great form of Mt. Kilimanjaro appears on the horizon. This tallest peak in Africa provides a majestic backdrop to Amboseli, framing the reserve’s wildlife. So be sure to have your camera ready.

We will have a relaxed afternoon watching for wildlife. The park’s small size and sparse foliage make game spotting easier.

AMBOSELI – TSAVO EAST NATIONAL PARK (260 km – Approx. 4hrs)

Tsavo National Park East - We’ll rise with the dawn for a pre-breakfast game drive and perhaps a clear view of Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped summit.

A hearty safari breakfast follows to prepare us for the day ahead. On our final game drive as we leave the park, we’ll be on the lookout for lion, cheetah, and hyena… and we’ll bid farewell to the elephants of Amboseli.

Now we’re back on the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway as we head to Tsavo East National Park, Kenya’s largest.

Here at Tsavo, the terrain is rugged and sparse, but that only makes the game viewing more accessible. We’ll be looking for the big hunters and grazers, especially the “red-dust” elephants. The giant beasts here like to roll in the red oxide soil, giving themselves a hearty coating of the rusty color.

We will have a relaxing afternoon, tracking the many species of the park, including over 500 types of birds.

It’s been a busy day and as the sunset approaches, we’ll freshen up for dinner and the evening ahead.

TSAVO EAST – MOMBASA (160 km – Approx. 2-3 hrs)

Tsavo East - Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch

We’ll get up… early! There’s so much to see here at Tsavo. After appreciating the wildlife as it emerges into the light, we’ll head back for breakfast.

During our stay at Tsavo East, we’ll visit some of its famous watering holes like Mudanda Rock and Aruba Dam, where a multitude of wildlife seek the life-sustaining waters. Don’t be surprised to find every sort of species sharing this communal space.

But soon it is time to head back to Mombasa and the Kenya coast.

Bucket-List Safari Experience! - Everything was great. Kennedy provided excellent communication and preparation prior to my trip, including arranging an airport transfer in Mombasa the day before my safari. Henry was my safari driver and guide. He was kind, patient, well-organized, and very knowledgeable. I was traveling solo and on the safari b uh myself, and Henry made great efforts to ensure I was comfortable, aware, and getting the most out of our time. Over the course of my safari, I saw sooo many animals. Most impressively, I got to see male adult lions, female adult lions, as well as lion cubs. Henry made sure we were getting a clear and complete view of the lions' activities without being invasive. He even seemed in awe, himself! The lodges during the safari were all excellent. Basic amenities, but all rooms had fans and bed netting and sufficient hot water. All the lodges had clean swimming pools, plenty of food for all diets, and courteous staff. I would heartily recommend Natural World Kenya to anyone looking for a bucket-list safari experience.

Milton for President - As a first time safari trip we (three people, I speak for all of us) chose Natural World Kenya based of good reviews and everything following comming to us was new and suprising. We chose a more private tour with just 3 people and Milton the guide. It was a real pleasent experience and a fantastic adventure, with honestly very little to no bad experiences. This is all credit to the Natural World Kenya team, Kennedy(overhead planning and booking) and our driver and tour guide Milton, which I will vouche for as a fantastic, experienced guide, driver, communicator. Myself as a hobby photographer I got the ability to control what type of composition i wanted and Milton would fulfill. The dialog is great, where you randomly say STOP and the car is at a stand still for you, he also has phenomenal eye sight. Points out animals in various harsh enviroments and calls out points of intrests, places you in spots which I have not thought of that could be a phenomenal photo or memory. If you want something done and you have a preference dont be afraid to ask, i cannot stress this enough. The competition out there is very hard with a lot of other safari vehicles in the way, but he manages to manouver and force his way (respectfully) trough for you to have the best experience possible. even if you dont have a camera with a zoom lens you will have a great experience using you phone camera to record and save fantastic memories, or just be there in the moment. With the contacts/social network and resources Milton posseses on the field, the team radio sharing of finds and his sheer WILLPOWER, DEDICATION and FOCUS to get to the point of intrest in time deserves a massive praise, sometimes you may find yourself waiting out some things which can get tedious and boring if you are impatient, but if you trust his instincts and knowledge you may experience once in a lifetime events. Also its very important to listen to what he says, like "dont make any noise" when a massive elephant is about to charge your vehicle. It is a very safe experience if you listen, obey and stay in the Safari Vehicle. These are a few expamples i chose to point out because thats what stuck out to me the most. Some other quallities that should be mentioned is his Safe driving, of overtaking heavy traffic and not getting stuck in bad roads. I could go on... I have nothing bad to say. 10/10 Fantastic experience and would do it again in a heartbeat. Kind Regards Almedin.

The best experience with a good Company and great employees - 4- day Tsavo West, Amboseli and Tsavo East National Park. If you are looking for a great tour, this is it. Natural World Kenia Safaris is easy to acces by e-mail, whatsapp or phone from your home. They (especially Martha) give you good advise (witch lodges to choose, etc.) before entering Kenia and starting your tour. Our tourgide/driver was Saidi. With many years of experience and a great personality he makes the safari to never forget. Saidi knows his ways in and outside the parks. A bounus is the trim from your Hotel to Tsavo West. It gives you a good impression of the normal life in Kenia. Natural World Kenia Safaris offers you a complete package and the think of everything. In short: they are one of the best you can get.

Beautiful safari with lots of animals - The safari was really great. We were able to see a lot of animals, especially because of our great driver Boniface, who was informed about special animals by radio and drove to the places quickly. The national parks are all different in terms of landscape and it is very exciting to find the various animals between the bushes and trees yourself. The lodges in the national parks were all different too. I thought the food in one was just great, the other had really nice rooms and the last one with the waterhole had the best view. I would definitely do the tour again. Thank you for the great time driver Boniface, who was informed about special animals by radio and drove to the places quickly.
