Savor a delightful lunch on board as you approach the island. The onboard chef will prepare a variety of local and international dishes to tantalize your taste buds. Upon arrival at El Sheikh Fadl Island, take a relaxing break with a traditional tea service. Enjoy the tranquility of the island, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Nile. Begin your exploration of Aswan with a visit to the Philae Temple, a stunning temple complex dedicated to the goddess Isis, situated on an island in the Nile. The Philae temple complex is an island-based temple complex in the reservoir of the Aswan Low Dam, downstream of the Aswan Dam and Lake Nasser, Egypt.
Aswan High Dam - Continue to the High Dam, an engineering marvel that controls the waters of the Nile and created Lake Nasser, one of the world’s largest artificial lakes. The Aswan Dam, or more specifically since the 1980s, the Aswan High Dam, is one of the world’s largest embankment dams, which was built across the Nile in Aswan, Egypt, between 1960 and 1970. When it was completed, it was the tallest earthen dam in the world, eclipsing the United States’ Chatuge Dam.
Aswan - Return to the Nile Dahabiya for disembarkation. Your guide will assist with the process, and you’ll be transferred to your next destination or hotel in Aswan.
