Luxor Temple - Visit Luxor Temple, a magnificent structure dedicated to the renewal of kingship and the worship of the god Amun. Walk through the avenue of sphinxes that once linked Luxor Temple to Karnak Temple and admire the temple’s splendor bathed in the gentle, warm sunlight.

Temple of Karnak - Discover the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple complex. Be amazed by the gigantic columns, obelisks, and sanctuaries devoted to various gods, including Amun-Ra, Mut, and Khonsu. Explore the Hypostyle Hall, an architectural marvel featuring 134 enormous columns adorned with intricate hieroglyphs.

Luxor - Enjoy some leisure time in Luxor to explore at your own pace. You can visit the bustling local markets, known as souks, where you’ll find a variety of goods and souvenirs. Alternatively, take a tranquil walk along the Nile River, soaking in the serene beauty of the surroundings.

Luxor - West Bank

Valley of The Kings - Your first stop is the legendary Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of many pharaohs from the New Kingdom period. Explore the elaborate tombs, each decorated with vibrant paintings and hieroglyphs that depict the pharaohs’ journey to the afterlife. Marvel at the well-preserved colors and intricate details that have lasted for millennia.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Next, visit the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an architectural masterpiece carved into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahri. Learn about the extraordinary reign of this female pharaoh and explore the temple’s terraced design, elegant colonnades, and stunning reliefs.

Colossi of Memnon - See the two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who ruled Egypt around 1350 BC. These statues are made from blocks of quartzite sandstone sourced from 675 km north of Luxor.

Nile River Valley - Your private tour also includes a felucca ride on the Nile to return to the Nile cruise. The cruise boat will then set sail for Edfu.

Edfu and Kom Ombo

Temple of Horus - Morning: Arrive in Edfu, where you’ll take a horse-drawn carriage to explore the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved ancient temples in Egypt. Dedicated to the falcon god Horus, this temple is a testament to the grandeur of Pharaonic architecture.

Temple of Kom Ombo - This temple is unique because it was dedicated to two gods: the falcon god Horus and the crocodile god Sobek. Built by Ptolemy VI, its design includes courts, halls, sanctuaries, and rooms duplicated for two sets of gods. The southern half of the temple was dedicated to Sobek, the god of fertility and creator of the world in ancient Egyptian religion, while the northern part was dedicated to Horus.

Kom Ombo - The cruise will then navigate to Aswan.

Aswan - Philae Temple and High Dam

Aswan - Morning: Arrive in Aswan, a city known for its peaceful beauty and rich history.

Aswan High Dam - Visit the modern engineering marvel, the Aswan High Dam, which controls the flow of the Nile and has been crucial to Egypt’s development.

Unfinished Obelisk - You’ll also see the Unfinished Obelisk, a massive granite monument that offers insights into ancient stone quarrying techniques.

Philae Temple - Visit the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. This temple tells one of the most famous stories in Egyptian mythology, about how Isis brought her beloved husband back to life, the birth of her son Horus, and the mummification of Osiris after his death. The temple was relocated to a small island called Agilika after the construction of the High Dam to protect it from flooding. Originally built during the reign of Ptolemy II in Egypt’s Greco-Roman Period, the temple once had obelisks in front, which were removed by British Consul Henry Salt in 1918 and are now in a garden in Dorset, England.

Aswan - Evening: Return to the ship for a delicious dinner and a relaxing evening as you spend your last night aboard the Nile cruise.

Aswan - Disembarkation

Aswan - Morning: On your final day, enjoy breakfast on board as you bid farewell to your luxurious Nile cruise. Disembark in Aswan with a wealth of memories from this immersive journey through Egypt’s rich heritage.

Abu Simbel - (Optional tour) For an additional charge, you can be picked up early in the morning for a day trip to the Abu Simbel temples. You will then be transferred to the airport, bus, or train station. Lunch is available for an extra charge.

Aswan - Enjoy some free time in Aswan to explore at your own pace. You can visit the local markets, known as souks, where you’ll find a variety of goods and souvenirs. Alternatively, take a peaceful stroll along the Nile River, soaking in the serene beauty of the surroundings.
