Day 01: One hour drive to Nayapul by private Car /Tkhedhunga. 1540m

Annapurna Region - We begin our trek at Nayapul, driving to the road head. After 15- minutes short walk along the bank of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1065m) a large village that has many shops & tea houses. From there, the trail continues through the village. The trail follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola.
From there, the trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille at 1495m & after the short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga at 1540m. This trek offers a short & relatively easy day, during journey & allows us to become used to the experience of trekking in Nepal.

The Ghorepani, Poon Hill trek, situated at an elevation of 3190m above Ghorepani, presents an awe-inspiring 360-degree panorama of Himalayan ranges, including the Dhulagiri and Annapurna ranges. One of the remarkable features of this spot is the visibility of more than 30 varied snow-capped mountain peaks, among which include two eight-thousanders, Dhaulagiri (8163m) and Annapurna I (8091m). On days with clear skies, even the Pokhara valley can be glimpsed. The Ghorepani trail, being short, easily approachable, and relatively simple, makes an ideal initial trek for those uncertain of their hiking prowess or those with limited time but a great desire for exploration. The trek to Ghorepani – Poon Hill (Pun Hill) in the Annapurna region is rightly regarded as the epitome of trekking experiences in Nepal.
