After breakfast the tour departs. First stop is Arusha Town for any last minute purchases before we head off on safari. Afterwards we head towards the Tarangire National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch at the park. Tarangire is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the centre of an annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephants, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebras. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro farm house.

On a safari around the northern circuit, one kicks off their journey from Arusha. Lake Manyara National Park and Tarangire National Park are located just about three hours away, often included in an extended safari journey. The Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s biggest volcanic craters that teems with various wildlife, is the northern circuit’s most frequented spot.
Should your travel happen between December and April, witnessing the yearly wildebeest migration in the Serengeti National Park is certainly a must-see.
