It’s a city that boasts the best of both worlds; a modern, trendy and forward-looking capital whilst at the same time being so close to its unspoiled nature. Reykjavik truly is a magical place to behold.

Day 3: Golden Circle: This tour takes you on a day trip to see the Geysir, Gullfoss and Thingvellir National Park.

Geysir - The Geysir geothermal area boasts spouting springs, including Strokkur, the most active geyser in Iceland.

Gullfoss Waterfall - At Gullfoss you are given the opportunity to stand next to the amazing waterfall, watching enormous quantities of water tumble violently into a deep, meandering gorge.

Thingvellir National Park - You will spend your time encountering a cross-section of Iceland’s natural wonders and geological phenomena at Thingvellir National Park, an area of historical and geological significance.

Day 4: South Iceland

Skogafoss - Skógafoss is an iconic Icelandic waterfall, it is the starting point of the Fimmvörðuháls hiking trail over into Þórsmörk. The waterfall was also used in filming Thor: The Dark World and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.

Vik - Vík is a charming village surrounded by high beautiful bird cliffs. Population: 300

Reynisfjara Beach - We will also stop at Reynisfjara black sand beach, with the Reynisdrangar rock formations and columnar basalt. It is one of the most spectacular beaches in Iceland but can be dangerous, and we kindly ask our guest not to go too close to the ocean and go by guidelines.

Reynisdrangar - Reynisdrangar are basalt sea stacks just off the coast of Reynisfjara

Seljalandsfoss - Seljalandsfoss is part of the Seljalandsá river, which has its origins in Eyjafjallajökull glacier. What makes Seljalandsfoss so famous and interesting is that you can walk behind it. We recommend you bring either a raincoat or a waterproof coat along if you want to walk behind it.

Day 5: Blue Lagoon

Blue Lagoon - Soak up in the warm and comfortable Blue Lagoon, one of the wonders of the world, during your visit in Iceland. The Blue Lagoon is one of Iceland’s most famous tourist attractions, and considered by many to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, as well as an unmissable part of one´s visit to Iceland. The Blue Lagoon offers a lava and moss filled scenery, state of the art facilities, a unique atmosphere and silica masks that make your skin extra firm, yet incredibly soft! For these reasons and many more, visitors from all over the world visit the Blue Lagoon daily, and many return again and again. After having enjoyed all that the Blue Lagoon has to offer, you return to Reykjavík.

Fantastic Trip to Iceland - Iceland is an English friendly and safe country and this tour plan itinerary makes the most of the time you have there. Everyday there's something todo and the hotel was pretty nice. Really loved the breakfast. Very pleased overall. Would recommend to a friend. However, make sure if you need a Covid test before you go home to plan accordingly. There's not much downtime on this tour and you need to plan ahead on when to take the return trip covid test.
