In this captivating 6-day journey, you’ll experience the famous Golden Circle route with its spectacular locations. This includes the unparalleled Gullfoss waterfall, Geysir geothermal area and the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Thingvellir National Park. Following this, your adventure will take you to the highly-praised South Coast to discover the one-of-a-kind black sand beach, Reynisfjara and Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon. After a trip to the Eastfjords, you’ll visit the picturesque Lake Mývatn with its remarkable surrounding scenery, including the Dimmuborgir lava pillars. You’ll continue your exploration to Akureyri, the northern capital, and then return to the southern capital.

Iceland is AMAZING!!! - We had a wonderful time on our small group tour. Everything was terrific. Our guide, Hinrik, was fantastic!!! The minibus was clean and spacious enough. The accommodations were rustic but nice. We saw 5-8 amazing sites each day. There was some fairly strenuous exercise but that’s necessary to see the beauty that is Iceland. I highly recommend this tour and BE SURE TO ASK FOR HINRIK.

Trip of a lifetime with Johann - I just finished the 6/day tour around Iceland guided by Johann and I almost feel emotional as I write this as I miss it already. Probably one of the best trips, and I have traveled a lot. We were lucky to be a small group of 8 people from 4 different countries who had never met before and who got along perfectly. The itinerary was very well put together as we saw all the highlights plus activities that not all tours cover such as the glacier hike, the ice cave, the whale hunting plus a lot of additional spontaneous stops that Johann suggested such as a place to spot puffins, hidden waterfalls, breathtaking panoramas. Johann is the best of the best. A true icelandic, a top professional who clearly loves his country and his job and created a connection with everyone in the group. We felt like we were being taken around by a friend we could totally rely on. Accommodations were all good and some of them like the glacier view hotel really special, I loved every single moment of the trip and would recommend it to anyone looking for a special experience. Thank you Troll, I will come back for the Northern lights.

The best way to explore Iceland - My husband and I visited Iceland in June 2024 and wanted an easy way to see all of the many sights. The 6 day Troll minibus tour was the PERFECT way to do so. We had an amazing tour guide, John, who shared so much knowledge of the country and each site with us. He also went above and beyond, making extra stops to show us his personal favorite views along the way. During our trip we did the glacier hike, ice cave, horseback riding, hot springs, and whale watching tour (among MANY other amazing stops.) I would HIGHLY recommend booking this trip for anyone visiting Iceland. I know we would never have been able to see all that we did had we not used Troll. All of the hotels and accommodations were perfect as well. No complaints!!!

Trip of a lifetime, don't miss it. - This was the trip of a lifetime, both exhilarating and exhausting. My one regret is that Icelandair did not have a free 9-day layover permitting us to do the 8-day tour; we could only do the 6-day tour. We saw waterfalls and at our on option, got wet. We walked on glaciers, rode boats and horses, and experienced incredible landscapes and saw whales. Also, I don't know whether is was magic or the people on the tour, but we had perfect weather every day; bright sun and blue skies, all day and night. Kudos to our guide David Ingi Magnusson for shepherding our group with grace and wit and imparting his knowledge of his home, Iceland.

Unforgettable, True Icelandic Experience - This tour was absolutely incredible! We ran into severe weather which required a ton of changes and coordinating but the Tröll team, especially our guide Jóhann handled it all brilliantly and made this truly a trip of a life time. I will definitely be using Tröll again during my next trip!!

Great Icelandic experience with an amazing guide - This tour.. I don't have any words for it. We had the real Icelandic experience: *read almost get snowed in in the North, had some sunny days in the south, almost blown away (also literally) on the glacier hike and getting wet during the Ice cave tour because of a mix of rain and snow.*. But it was amazing. I went solo and was surprised about how many people there were solo on the tour. We had a lovely group of 12 people (6 solo travelers and three 'couples'). It was a really nice group. Johann, our guide, was amazing. Always positive, had amazing energy and stories and brought so much fun into our trip. Would definitely recommend this tour as a solo traveler who wants to see the whole island. Thank you Johann for being so enthousiastic and teaching us a lot about Iceland. You are amazing.

Unforgettable winter journey - I came to Iceland at the end of March and it was pretty cold. I don't usually go on organised tours, but I decided to book a 6-day tour around Iceland since driving there by myself in winter seemed a little risky. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience, especially thanks to our guide, John. John was fantastic. He kept an eye on the weather to predict the best times to see the Northern Lights. He was very considerate, particularly to me, as I was keen on finding good spots for photography. One of the places we stayed was particularly memorable, a cozy cabin in the middle of nowhere, which I absolutely loved. The highlight for me was driving exploring East Iceland and the stunning landscapes. John was not only a great driver who made us feel safe even during terrible weather, but he also shared his personal stories and took us to special places that aren't usually included in the tour. I enjoyed these stops the most.

Jóhann is an amazing guide & trip exceeded my expectations! - there aren’t enough words to describe how amazing my tour was - Jóhann is the best guide I could have ever wished for!!! He kept us so safe in winter conditions, was hilarious, kind and always keeping a well-paced schedule and showed us many things he didn’t have to. My trip exceeded my expectations & I would highly recommend a tour with him!! The mini bus has great wifi also and the seats are comfortable.
