Unforgettable, True Icelandic Experience - This tour was absolutely incredible! We ran into severe weather which required a ton of changes and coordinating but the Tröll team, especially our guide Jóhann handled it all brilliantly and made this truly a trip of a life time. I will definitely be using Tröll again during my next trip!!

Great Icelandic experience with an amazing guide - This tour.. I don't have any words for it. We had the real Icelandic experience: *read almost get snowed in in the North, had some sunny days in the south, almost blown away (also literally) on the glacier hike and getting wet during the Ice cave tour because of a mix of rain and snow.*. But it was amazing. I went solo and was surprised about how many people there were solo on the tour. We had a lovely group of 12 people (6 solo travelers and three 'couples'). It was a really nice group. Johann, our guide, was amazing. Always positive, had amazing energy and stories and brought so much fun into our trip. Would definitely recommend this tour as a solo traveler who wants to see the whole island. Thank you Johann for being so enthousiastic and teaching us a lot about Iceland. You are amazing.

Unforgettable winter journey - I came to Iceland at the end of March and it was pretty cold. I don't usually go on organised tours, but I decided to book a 6-day tour around Iceland since driving there by myself in winter seemed a little risky. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience, especially thanks to our guide, John. John was fantastic. He kept an eye on the weather to predict the best times to see the Northern Lights. He was very considerate, particularly to me, as I was keen on finding good spots for photography. One of the places we stayed was particularly memorable, a cozy cabin in the middle of nowhere, which I absolutely loved. The highlight for me was driving exploring East Iceland and the stunning landscapes. John was not only a great driver who made us feel safe even during terrible weather, but he also shared his personal stories and took us to special places that aren't usually included in the tour. I enjoyed these stops the most.

Jóhann is an amazing guide & trip exceeded my expectations! - there aren’t enough words to describe how amazing my tour was - Jóhann is the best guide I could have ever wished for!!! He kept us so safe in winter conditions, was hilarious, kind and always keeping a well-paced schedule and showed us many things he didn’t have to. My trip exceeded my expectations & I would highly recommend a tour with him!! The mini bus has great wifi also and the seats are comfortable.

🌈 Wonderful experience 💚 - My booked tour of Iceland took us around the island in 6 days. That is of course very short and the days were long and quite exhausting, but it was definitely worth it for me to book the tour with Troll and John. I traveled alone and felt very comfortable in our motley group of 17 people from many different countries. Our guide John is very enthusiastic about Iceland and shared his love of the country, his knowledge and many of his favorite places with us. He always made a great effort to ensure that we learned a lot about the country, its glaciers and volcanoes, as well as the places, and he never tired of repeating the Icelandic names to us. We stayed in different hotels every night and there was always a rich breakfast buffet. If anyone is interested: there was always a hairdryer 😅. I was very happy with the whole organisation, the booking, the pick-up, the itinerary, the accommodations and also the other activities (Vök Bath, ice cave, glacier hike, horseback riding) - everything went smoothly. 👍🏼 🌈 And on top of that we also had great weather ☀️ Big kudos to John and the Troll team. 💚

Great experience with the 6-day tour - Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My wife and I loved everything about the time we spent in Iceland and with our tour group. The 6-day trip was filled with excitement and so well-planned that at no time did we ever feel overwhelmed or tired (partially thanks to the wonderful driving of our tour guide Thales). Some highlight of the trip: - Hiking the Sólheimajökull Glacier - Blue Ice Cave at Vatnajökull - The VÖK bath - Whale watching in the fjord - Catching the northern lights in our final night. And again have to mention our guide Thales that made the trip perfect - knowledgeable, passionate, and lovely to be around with.

The Perfect first time in Iceland - This tour allowed us to travel around Iceland in 6 days and see many of its wonders. Being winter, it was absolutely the best choice to take a tour with Troll! Indeed, having an experienced driver on the icy and snowy roads of the north of the island was ideal! As a first time in Iceland, everything was perfect and we hope to come back in the summer! We must thank our guide Thales who showed us unexpected things and always had special attention towards all of us!

Definitely recommend - It was an amazing journey. I really love Johann’s alright alright and love every snowball fight we had. All the people in the travel group are nice and interesting, which adds spice to this journey. Wouldn’t have such a great time without everyone! And the scenery in Iceland is definitely one of the most beautiful ones I have ever seen in my life. Really appreciate the harmonious combination of nature and human in this journey.
