Arrival in Salta

Salta - The capital of Salta is a splendid place surrounded by great wonders and extravagant views, which is why it is known as “Salta, La Linda”. According to the arrival time of your flight to Salta, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in the center of the city. You will have the rest of the day to rest and prepare for excursions that will allow you to learn more about the region.

Salinas Grandes

Ruins of Tastil - We depart from the central hotels in Salta towards a day full of history and impressive landscapes. Our first stop: the ancient Ruins of Tastil, before continuing on our way to San Antonio de los Cobres.

San Antonio de los Cobres - We will stop in San Antonio de los Cobres, a town full of charm and culture. Here, we will enjoy a well-deserved rest to enjoy a delicious lunch before continuing our fascinating journey.

Salinas Grandes - Then, you cross Route 40 until you reach Salinas Grandes, just on the border between Salta and Jujuy. There, you will have free time to take photographs and enjoy this unique natural environment, the great expanse of white salt that contrasts with the blue sky.

Cuesta de Lipan - After immersing ourselves in this unique experience, we embark on the descent down the majestic Cuesta de Lipán, a route that offers impressive views and the opportunity to spot condors in their natural habitat.

Purmamarca - We will continue our way to the typical town of Purmamarca, where the impressive Cerro de los Siete Colores will welcome us. This iconic place offers a spectacular view that will leave you breathless

Salta - We will return to Salta and you will be dropped off at your hotel in the city center.

Humahuaca

The Hill of Seven Colors - The tour begins at your hotel where the guide will pass to undertake the trip to the Quebrada de Humahuaca through Purmamarca and Tilcara. The first point to visit during the excursion is the town of Purmamarca, to observe the Cerro de Los Sietes Colores, the church and the craft market.

Pucara de Tilcara - After exploring Purmamarca, we will pass by the historic Posta de Hornillos. Then, we will continue towards Tilcara to visit its famous Pucará, an ancient fortress that offers a fascinating look at the history of the region.

Tropico de Capricornio - After Tilcara, our tour will take us to Huacalera and the Tropic of Capricorn pass. From this point, you will have the opportunity to admire the impressive colors of the hill known as Pollera de la Colla.

Uquia - We will head towards Uquía. There, we will visit the historic Church of Uquía, famous for housing the impressive paintings of the Arquebusier Angels. It is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich history and cultural heritage of the region.

Monumento a los Heroes de la Independencia - After exploring Uquía, we will head to Humahuaca, where its impressive Cathedral and the emblematic Independence Monument, also known as “El Indio”, will welcome us, the work of sculptor Soto Avendaño. After enjoying lunch (not included), we will return to the city of Salta, taking with us the indelible memories of this unforgettable day.

Las Paletas Del Pintor - Along the return journey, you will be able to enjoy a panoramic view of the area known as “The Painter’s Palette”, a natural formation of vibrant colors that frames the picturesque town of Maimará.

Salta - Finally, we will return to Salta and you will be dropped off at your hotel.

Calchaquies Valleys: Cachi and Quebrada de las Flechas

Valle de Lerma - The two-day tour begins with a road trip through the Lerma Valley to the town of Carril.

Valle Encantado - From there you enter the Cuesta del Obispo, following a path with abundant curves that allows you to enjoy a panoramic view the Enchanted Valley and the small houses with corn and fruit crops.

Cachi - Arriving in Cachi, there is a panoramic view of the Nevado de Cachi and Payogasta. A visit to the town of Cachi is made visiting the Museum of Archeology and the Church.

Quebrada de Las Flechas - Angastaco - The tour continues along Route No. 40 to admire mountainous landscapes with charming towns, bordering the Calchaquí River. You cross the Quebrada de Las Flechas, San Carlos and Animaná and arrive at Cafayate.

Cafayate - We will stop in Cafayate, to spend the night in this charming town in the province.

Calchaquies Valleys: Cafayate and Quebrada de las Conchas

Cafayate - On this day, we will visit Cafayate, the youngest city in the Calchaquí Valleys, internationally recognized for the strains of its wines, particularly Torrontés, which can be tasted on visits to its wineries, whether handmade or industrial. .

Quebrada del Rio de las Conchas - After having lunch (not included) we return to the city of Salta through the Quebrada de las Conchas, where the curious formations eroded by the wind and water will be the main attraction: the dunes, the toad, the bishop, the devil’s throat, the castles, the amphitheater, among others. The guide will drop you off at your hotel at the end of the tour.

Goodbye Jump

Salta - After you have explored and marveled at the unique landscapes of northern Argentina, we will ensure that you arrive on time for your return flight from Salta airport. Depending on your flight schedule, we will organize your transfer from your hotel to take you to the airport and take your flight back home.
