Wonderful 6-day Ring Road Trip with Johan - We thoroughly enjoyed the trip with Troll to Iceland. We got a small cozy group and a great guide in Johan. The guidelines given to us were good but Johan the local guide took the trip a few notches above excellent due to his knowledge of the country. You could clearly tell that he is loving his job. Throughout the trip he gave us a lot of information and was very knowledgeable regarding any questions we had at all about the culture, history, geography etc. The accommodation was very comfortable every day. The van was also very comfortable. Would highly recommend Troll and Johan as a guide.

Joyful memories made in a county of such profound beauty - Had a fantastic experience and felt extremely lucky to have a brilliant guide, Johann looking after our small group on our tour. We also had great instructors and guides throughout. From glacier walking to horse riding. From spectacular waterfalls to puffins, whales and reindeer. This trip had it all.

A great experience, John is the best! - I booked the 6-day tour around Route No. 1 with a friend. A very well organized tour. John was our guide. It was the second time for me (first time in December). John is a caring guide, who seeks to please everyone. It was superb and I recommend this tour to everyone. The activities are well chosen and accessible to as many people as possible. John is full of positive energy and his good humor is contagious. He tries to stop at tourist spots and nearby places where there are fewer people, which is very nice. I highly recommend it ! A very nice experience.

Amazing and relaxing journey - The whole trip was very happy and fulfilling. Johann carefully introduced each scenic spot and always cared about everyone's condition. I am very happy that I joined this Iceland tour group. I met many new friends and had a wonderful Iceland vacation.

Awesome Icelandic Adventure 6 days - My husband and I knew of Troll expeditions from a colleague from work. We decided to just do it at the age of 62 and 63. John was our tour guide for 6 beautiful, beautiful adventurous days. He greeted us each morning with his bright smile and famous “My beautiful people” Making each morning a positive beginning regardless if it was a cool windy raining morning. We looked forward to what we would be experiencing each day. John was very good at giving us a good outline of what we would be doing each day. It was very important to be on time so that booked tours were on time with the bus travel to each destination. Plenty of time was spent so you did not feel rushed most of the time. John was very informative and explained each area that was on the itinerary. Someone said in our group that Iceland was more than the word Awesome. Never have I seen such beauty and so many different landscapes. I couldn’t even count how many waterfalls were throughout the whole “Golden Circle” along with the most popular ones that were in view through the journey. John asked us what three activities were most memorable to us: We enjoyed the Ice Cave, whale watching boat ride-we were very surprised that we got to see so many Humpbacks whales so quickly and the Black Diamond Beach with the large icebergs that rolled onto the beach. With the sunlight shining on them they truly look like diamonds sparkling on the black sand. We even met a couple who traveled from South Africa that got engaged that day on the beach. This expedition is not a resting vacation. You are on the go the whole time. So if you are wanting relaxation this probably would not be a good tour choice to choose. There are, Glaciers to climb, rocks and ledges to climb on, lots of stairs to climb up and down. Luckily I have been walking dogs everyday but still felt out of shape but it definitely helped some. Our tour guide John was a very good guide he kept everything upbeat and positive even when it was cold and rainy he told us we still would enjoy the activity regardless of the weather. As long as you were dressed for the weather you would enjoy it. John even took us to some of his own personal special places that he likes to spend time at when he needs to unwind. We are so glad that we decided to visit Iceland and pick the tour with Troll Expeditions. We would of never did so many different activities on our own and stretched our minds and bodies to the extreme doing it ourselves. We also were lucky that we had a smaller group and we all enjoyed being together and helping each other with a helping hand to hold on to, taking each others pictures and giving encouragement and support. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Most enjoyable six days - The weather is great, maybe we are lucky. The Iceland view is unforgettable, and was so beautiful. most important thing is we have a good guide-Jóhanm, he can tell us many interesting story of iceland as a local. And we only have four people, he always lets us do what we want, like chasing lamps:) These six days are always in the laughing and talking. I think I will never forget.

Unforgettable 6-Day Northern Lights Winter Tour of Iceland - Despite encountering a road closure due to a blizzard up north, my Small Group 6-Day Northern Lights Winter Tour of Iceland was an unforgettable adventure. Our guide, Iskren, ensured that every moment was memorable. From his dedication to spotting the aurora borealis to his thoughtful gestures like playing our requested songs during road trips, Iskren's attention to detail made the journey exceptional. Although we didn't complete the full circle around Iceland, the camaraderie among fellow travelers and the stunning landscapes made the trip truly special. Despite the setback, this tour exceeded my expectations, offering an authentic Icelandic experience that I'll cherish forever.
