Trip of a Lifetime!!! - I highly recommend Mahmoud as your professional tour guide on this cruise. He was extremely experienced, knowledgeable, and educated about all of Egypt. He was extremely passionate and punctual to ensure that we made it on time and remained on schedule. There were so many nuances and minute details to coordinate to ensure that strict compliance and timelines were met in between various modes of transportation to all of the temples, and tours that there is no way possible anyone short of an expert could have done it all. Mahmoud and the entire cruise staff to include all of our van, boat, bus, and ferry drivers ensure that we remained safe and throughly enjoyed our selves. At the end of the cruise Mahmoud even went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that we had transportation to our respective hotel, ground, or air reservations. He even coordinated all of that for our entire group AFTER the cruise. Finally, due to weather conditions the government decided to close down the hot air balloon ride initially scheduled on our last cruise day. However, Mahmoud did not give up!!! He contacted each of us individually who were remaining in Luxor an additional night, and ensured that we completed our hot air balloon ride the next morning when the government made it available again. We had a happy ending!!! The ballon ride was the icing on the cake to an already extensive and successful cruise. I highly recommend the cruise package. The food was prepared fresh daily. There was also live entertainment each night on the ship. We had belly dancers and more. On the last night, the crew gathered to sing to us and brought us out cake!!! Thank you Mahmoud and to everyone for making my time in Egypt more enjoyable than I could have ever imagined. I have made friends and memories that I will treasure for a lifetime!

Amazing Fun experience! - The tour was absolutely amazing . We went to all the temples and tombs as listed in the the itinerary. Even though we had to wake up around 3-5 AM for some temples, we had a wonderful time in all of them. Our tour guide was Bee, he was very knowledgeable and helpful. Gave very helpful tips on bargaining and things to avoid. ☆☆☆☆☆ ☆☆☆☆☆ Would recommend!

Cruise in Egypt - I loved having the chance to see so many different places in one trip. All guides were very friendly and acknowledged. They explain everything and took the time to answer all our questions.

Amazing - The entire experience was very good, perfectly organized. Abu simbel tour was the most beautiful and amazing experience, we'll always keep in our hearts but not just that single trip as the entire tour. Our guide Mahmoud was the best!

Fantastic cruise tour - The cruise was very nice and Mahmoud our tour guide was wery helpfull and knowledgable obout all the places we went . The cruise was nice and very clean cabin with great staff who catered to all our needs. the sleeping train trip however was a dissapointing affair. it was extremely dirty and seemed like the cleaning was done as often as the maintenance that seemed to be from when the train was new at around 2 world war. i can understand it is old but when you pay 90 dollars each i would expext something more than that. However the staff was friendly and helpfull . The last day of our trip, Mody tours are a bit disappointing that they cant be able to get us from the train station anymore.

Great guide, great ship - We travelled as a family of six and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Talaat Abdo was a wonderful guide - knowledgeable, organized, and fun. While our travels to Aswan from Cairo could have been smoother, once we were in Talaat’s capable hands everything went smoothly. Talaat shared our itinerary with us every evening, coordinated all of our day time activities, guided us through nine historical sites, answered our questions, and played ping pong with our son on the boat in the evening. The boat itself was comfortable and clean, and the staff incredibly efficient and welcoming. The food was great with tons of meat and vegetable options and nice desserts. Recommend flying rather than taking the train with the sleeper car (costs less too).

Nile cruise with many sightseeings - This tour is amazing but tourist must be aware of the local culture to fully appreciate any activity in Egypt, and mainly to avoid being frustrated and upset. Last minute changes to the program may occur as well as cancelations. Many temples may be closed by the government and the tour must be adapted. The ballon flight is organised by another company and cancelations are bot uncommon depending of the weather. So, if you are the one who gets frustrated by changes in your plan, consider not coming to Egypt at all. Also, everyone in Egypt will ask you for tips, being intrusive to provide small services, like opening the tap in public toilets, and expect a tip for that. Prices will always be higher for tourists. Foreigners may feel unease many times, but this is the local culture, so take a deep breath, relax and exercise the patience. Said that, Egypt is an amazing place and this tour give you the chance to visit many places and still return to a comfortable bed in the end of the day. The guide, Mustafa, was very helpful and he tries his best to accomodate last minute changes as well as any change you want to do along the way. The bus trip to Abu Simbel is 4 hours each way and the bus is not very comfortable, so be prepared for that. The train is not very comfortable too, even the first class included in the tour. But it is what is available. We upgraded to the sleeper train on the way back to Cairo which is expensive but worth the price. Other than that, it is an amazing experience!

Itinerary described for... - Itinerary described for this trip was very brief, so I didn't know what would be proceeding ahead of time. Even the guide didn't give us about the whole tour briefing in the beginning. Communication with the activity provider was not easy. Lastly we upgraded the Train to Sleepers with extra us$80/person one way - very disappointing and not clean inside the train..... I don't recommend train trip to Aswan. I would recommend flight to go to Aswan/Luxor, then start this tour. Flight is much cheaper.
