Run - don’t walk to book your tour of India with Golden Triangle Tours!! - Despite being an avid traveller having used many great tour services over the years, I rarely find the time to sit down afterwards and write a review, but our trip to India with Gopal’s company Golden Triangle Tours would not be complete without a glowing review! Our group consisted of a range of ages from my 8-year old son to my 70-year old parents and everyone who came has described this holiday as a trip of a lifetime! In their organising - Gopal and team leave no stone unturned. We did a 6 day tour of the golden triangle starting at Jaipur, then to Agra and finishing in Delhi. And they organised all of it from transport, to hotels to tour guides and even arranged for us to participate in the festival of colour with Gopal and his family!! The biggest shoutout must go to our driver Suresh and his assistant Kamal who by the end of the trip felt like members of the family. They were awesome - always watching out for us, driving incredibly safely in the chaotic India traffic in a super clean and luxurious vehicle yet making sure we reached each destination in a timely manner so we could explore everything to its fullest!! We also had incredible tour guides, again arranged by Gopal, in both Jaipur (Satees) and in Agra (Malik) who were so knowledgeable, friendly and just amazing at their jobs!! And then the tour guide again in Amritsar (Ajit). They really made it!! The hotels that were booked for us were fabulous - especially the Raddison in Agra which had a rooftop view of the Taj Mahal!! From your first enquiry to even after your trip with them has ended Golden Triangle Tours are incredibly responsive via WhatsApp and no question is too much trouble. We will return to India and I will not hesitate to book with this company again!

A Wonderful Introduction to North India - My husband and I have been dreaming of visiting India mainly because of our love for Indian food. When we decided we would go to India for our honeymoon and started doing research on where to visit, we didn't even know where or how to begin. After finding this company on a blog through Pinterest, I reviewed their website, reviews, and decided to move forward with this Tour company. I am so glad that I did. Initially, we worked with Gopal to make sure that we had a smooth trip and tour experience. Gopal was very accommodating to our needs and timeline, helping else figure out the itinerary for a few months until we finalized the perfect itinerary that worked for us. We started our tour with being greeted by the most wonderful private driver, Ajay, who we got to know very well during our 6-day tour. He was our personal driver for the entire trip and made the car ride and overall experience very comfortable and fun! We had great car conversations, shared delicious food and beverages, and exchanged so much knowledge, wisdom, and insight on each other's culture and life. We were guided by different tour guides, depending on what city/region we were visiting. We thoroughly enjoyed each private tour guide and made great connections with each of them. Each were so informative and knowledgeable of the history and culture of every site we visited. Many were very funny, light-spirited, and made sure we were well taken care of. Each site we visited were so beautiful and mesmerizing from the last. The amount of culture and history we digested have left a lasting impression on us, such that the knowledge and understanding we've received will be reflected upon for years to come. I will say, without this company we wouldn't even have been able to figure out this amazing itinerary that Gopal and Ajay were able to organize for us. In all the beauty and chaos that India is, we had so much fun and really enjoyed our time in North India. I highly recommend this company, especially if you are visiting for your first time as my Husband and I were. Mahalo nui loa for a wonderful introduction to North India!

Outstanding and varied tour - Excellent tour, very well organised and great communication with the organiser Gopal. The driver Man Singh was superb, professional and friendly. A varied tour with all the highlights you would expect, plus leopard safari, cooking class in an Indian family home, and so much more. This tour exceeded my expectations and I would recommend this to anyone with a week to spare in north India.

Brilliant and well organised tour. - We would thoroughly recommend using Golden Triangle Tours. We have recently returned from an excellent trip. Our smartly dressed driver Dinesh was a charming man, his car was always spotless and his driving on such challenging and busy roads was superb. Our guides, Satish and Anil, were very polite, flexible and incredibly knowledgable and we learned a lot about each place we visited. We were given plenty of tie to take photos at each place without feeling marshalled. On our safari we had a great driver who seemed to instinctively know to stay at the watering hole after everyone else had left, giving us the most exhilarating view of the leopard. On our arrival in Jaipur Gopal came to visit us at the hotel which was a nice touch. He would regularly check with the guides during the day that everything was going as planned. So book in confidence that you will be well looked after in every respect.

Amazing tour that was planned perfectly - An absolutely amazing trip from start to finish! Picked up at Delhi airport arrivals by our driver Ajay after a long late flight. He was super friendly and got us comfortable in the car straight away with refreshments and hotspot wifi! We always felt safe in the car with his calm and careful driving on the crazy Indian roads. The logistics of the entire trip were planned perfectly. We’d agree a pick up time from the hotel each morning after breakfast then collect a local guide on the way to the planned sights/activities. All of the guides were very friendly and knowledgable and also super efficient. They’d let us know before arriving somewhere if there is anything to watch out for (e.g. don’t entertain pushy sellers outside attractions) and we didn’t waste any time figuring out how/where to buy tickets/queue etc. The schedule was packed but there was still room for flexibility. If you have restaurant/cafe/shop you want to check out just let your driver and guide know and they’ll make it happen. Same if it’s been a long and tiring day and you’d rather just drive by something to get a look from the car or skip it all together it’s no problem. Highlights that we weren’t so familiar with before booking were Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. Both have unbelievable architecture along with a fascinating (linked) history. We also loved Jaipur and would visit again next time along with exploring more of Rajasthan. Thanks to Gopal for the great planning and easy/clear communication during the booking process!
