Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang) - At 08:00, a 30-minute tour briefing will be held in the hotel lobby, giving you the chance to meet your fellow travelers. Your guide will provide a brief introduction to the tour and share some tips and guidelines for group travel. Feel free to ask any questions about the trip. Your first stop today is Tiananmen Square.

Forbidden City-The Palace Museum - From Tiananmen Square, you can walk to the Forbidden City. Upon arriving at the largest imperial palace, travelers are often awed by the towering red walls and numerous buildings with golden roofs.

Summer Palace (Yiheyuan) - In the afternoon, you will explore the elegant Summer Palace, the largest imperial garden in China.

Mutianyu Great Wall - Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel and pack some snacks for lunch, as today you will visit the Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the most magnificent and well-preserved sections of the Great Wall. You will take a round-trip cable car to and from the wall. Since most nearby restaurants offer low-quality tourist food that doesn’t meet our standards, lunch will be on your own today. Our guide will be happy to assist.

Hutong Tour - After lunch, take a classic Hutong rickshaw tour to experience the traditional alleys of Beijing and its ancient culture. A special activity included is trying your hand at Chinese Paper Cutting, one of China’s most beloved folk arts.

Beijing-Shanghai by bullet train (-/L/D)

Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - Later, visit the classical Yu Garden and its surrounding traditional bazaar.

The Bund - Next, you will be guided to the Bund area for a short cruise along the Huangpu River. Enjoy some free time on the Bund. Finally, our guide and driver will escort you back to the hotel and bid you farewell.

Nanjing Lu (Nanjing Road) - Nanjing Road is Shanghai’s premier shopping street.

Jade Buddha Temple - Jade Buddha Temple

Shanghai World Financial Center - In the afternoon, visit the Shanghai World Financial Center, located in the heart of the Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone. With 101 floors and reaching a height of 492 meters, this building embodies Mori Building’s Vertical Garden City concept. It is a cultural and informational hub with state-of-the-art security. The last stop is Tianzifang alley, an artsy area transformed from old residential buildings and factories into a vibrant space with bars, cafes, craft shops, design studios, galleries, and boutiques. It is popular among yuppies, trendsetters, designers, and expatriates who are drawn to the charm of old Shikumen houses and lanes filled with endless novelties.
