Kochi Airport to Munnar
Munnar Hill Station - Upon your arrival at Kochi airport, our representative will greet you at the arrival terminal. Known for its tea estates, this scenic hill station is the largest tea producer in South India. Situated 1,600 meters above sea level, it was once the summer retreat of the former British government in the area. The extensive tea plantations, charming towns, winding roads, and holiday amenities make this a favored resort destination. Check into the resort and unwind. Day 2: Munnar Sightseeing
Rajamalai (Eravikulam) National Park - After a delicious breakfast, start your day with sightseeing at Eravikulam National Park, Blossom Garden, Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Lake, Echo Point, Tea Museum, and Munnar Flower Show. Enjoy a leisurely day.
Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady
Periyar Tiger Reserve - After breakfast, prepare for a busy travel day. Today, you will head to Thekkady, home to the renowned Periyar (Thekkady) Wildlife Sanctuary, one of the best-maintained wildlife sanctuaries in South India. Spanning an area of 777 sq. km, the sanctuary features a magnificent artificial lake created by the Mullaperiyar Dam across the Periyar River, enhancing the park’s allure. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can uniquely observe wildlife up close while cruising on the lake in a boat. Upon arrival, check into the hotel for the night, leaving the afternoon free to enjoy a Spice Plantation visit, and optional Kathakali and Kalari Payattu shows.
Day 4: Thekkady to Alleppey
Alleppey Backwaters - After breakfast, check out and drive to Kumarakom/Alleppey, famous for the backwaters of Kerala. Check into the beautiful resort and enjoy its facilities. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 5: Alleppey to Kovalam
Kovalam Beach - After breakfast, depart from Alleppey to the palm-fringed Kovalam Beach, one of India’s most renowned beach towns. The endless blue waters of the Arabian Sea and miles of white sand washed by the surf make this beach a true paradise, rich in beauty and activities. Relax and enjoy the sunset.
