Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut
Kilimanjaro National Park - After a hearty breakfast, we will drive to the Marangu Gate to officially start your trek. The first day involves a gradual ascent through lush rainforests filled with unique flora and fauna. Keep an eye out for Colobus monkeys and various bird species. Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
Kilimanjaro National Park - Leaving Mandara Hut, you’ll continue your hike through moorland, with the vegetation gradually changing as you gain altitude. The views of the surrounding landscapes and Mawenzi Peak become more spectacular. Horombo Hut, where you’ll spend the night, is at 3,720 meters and offers a breathtaking perspective of the mountain. Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

Summit Day - Uhuru Peak and Descent to Horombo

Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate - Return to Moshi
Kilimanjaro National Park - On your final day, you’ll descend through the forest once more, with the weather gradually warming.
