Had a blast and very informative - Made La Coruna come alive with our guide. Nice easy ride even for a senior like me. First time and now will do it again without hesitateation.

Our e bike tour of La Coruna - Our cruise ships first port of call was La Coruna on 17th Sept 2024. I booked this trip via Viatour. My wife and I were the only two people on the trip that day. We had been kept well informed of the trip beforehand. On the day we had Juan as our guide. He was very knowledgeable about the various sites around La Coruna. We had plenty of time to look around each destination on the tour that we needed. The bikes were very easy to handle and control. We were fortunate that the weather was very good on the day but as Juan said you could be unlucky with your booking as the coast is very open to the changes in the weather. All in all I would definitely recommend this trip.

Beautiful bike ride in La Coruna - The Eco logica company did a great job with our tour of La Coruna. The e-bikes were very nice and they had them all set up according to your height. It was a fantastic way to see the city highlights. I would definitely use them again.

Fabulous Ebike tour of Á Coruna - Danny, our tour guide led us on a fabulous tour to the different places in A Coruna. He had great stories and history at the many stops. I left my backpack in the bike shop and Javier helpfully posted it to my home address. Many thanks Javier for helping out. I would highly recommend the Ebike tour… great bikes, great guides, great service.

Fun in the rain - It was pouring rain during our tour, but it was still fun and great experience. Really enjoyed A Coruña.

Our guide Danny was great... - Our guide Danny was great and he did an exceptional job of keeping the group together. The bikes worked great and were well maintained. I would have liked to go into the city some versus just riding along the coast but otherwise it was a very good tour.

It never happened - bad weather - only 50% refund. - I was arriving to La Coruna by cruise ship. After booking the tour, the cruise line changed the port arrival time, to a later time. I contacted the tour operators to cancel, but they were very accomodating and said they would change the tour time to the time i would be able to be there. This was great from them. However, due to bad weather, my cruise ship skipped the port previous to La Coruna and actually arrived much earlier. The weather was miserable. Non stop rain and strong winds (25mph). My tour was scheduled for 4:30pm. Around 11:00am we went to the tour place and asked about cancelling, as the weather was not conducive to bike riding. We were told we had to cancel 24 hours in advance, but that the weather would clear by 1:00pm So we left it like that and said we would check back later. Spent a few hours walking (with umbrellas and wind turning umbrellas upside down) around the city, and called back at 4:00pm, since the weather was still the same. They told us that now the weather would clear by 5:00pm, and asked if i could make it. I told them we were already back in the ship. In any case, the weather never cleared. I took a picture of the miserable weather. They gave me a 50% refund, alleging that Viator had already charged them 25% and the tour guide another 25%. I'm an experienced cyclist that rides 3-4 times a week, about 100 miles a week. However, my daughter has not ridden a bike in many years and i was not comfortable making her ride in that rainy, foggy, windy weather. I understand the policy of the 24 hour window to cancel, which is more than fair, but in this case, I don't think i should pay 50% of the price when the tour was not viable because of weather.

Provider of tour - Bad judgement - I am going to give the benefit of the doubt that the tour guide would've have done a better job if it were not for the horrible rainy, cold and windy day. At the last minute it was decided to go when the rain stopped for literally long enough for the provider to send us on our way. It was still very windy and zero sunshine and I could see in the radar more rain was expected. I urged him to cancel the tour as the weather was not conducive or safe to proceed but it felt in deaf ears. I trusted his judgement and went along with the tour guide. Knowing what a horrible experience I was about to have, I would not have gone. The tour is mostly along the seaside and the wind gusts would pick up making it very difficult to pedal trying to hold on to dear life. The tour guide even shared there have been instances where cars parked along the seaside would be picked up by the wind and end up in the ocean. Imagine how this sounded to me!!! We stopped in all the indicated places and it is a beautiful city with lots of history but frankly it was hard to enjoy and at times hard to appreciate because of the rain and poor visibility. I feel the provider did not use caution and good judgement. There were 3 couples included my husband and me and we had been told that the tour was full making me think that others decided not to show. This was not a cheap tour and frankly I would like my money back.
