Highlights

Monday: Pescador Island Hopping & Snorkeling with sea turtles

Pescador Island - We will pick you up from your hotel in Cebu City or Mactan between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. You will have received a corresponding SMS with the exact pick-up time the day before.

And then it starts: On winding uphill and downhill roads, following the coast, we drive to Pescador. We encounter jeepneys, tricycles and the Filipino mopeds, on which often 3 or 4 people sit. A good opportunity to take your first photos.

Around noon we will reach Pescador and take a small boat to the island. The boat tour and island visit are the most picturesque parts of this day. The subsequent snorkeling tour on the colorful reefs of Moalboal is more physically demanding. Fortunately, you don’t have to dive deep to meet colorful schools of fish and large sea turtles in the tropical warm sea just below the surface of the water.

Tuesday: Swimming with Whale Sharks in Oslob & Canyoneering Kawasan Falls

Kawasan Falls - We drive about 70 km to the Kawasan Falls, the fantastically beautiful waterfalls. Here you can relax and swim at the foot of the waterfalls and enjoy the atmosphere. Does that sound too boring to you? Then come along to canyoning. In canyonoing we hike to the rocky top of the waterfalls and then jump down there. You can jump from 8 meters, 12 meters or 14 meters high cliffs, slide on rocks into deep water and have fun with the monkey swing. You can try everything several times.

We will spend about 3 hours at the falls.

Cebu City - About 2 hours of driving on the coastal road from Pescador are still ahead of us. The sea on the right and the mountains on the left: enjoy the drive to Cebu City.

Our hotel in Cebu City is right in the area where the nightlife pulsates and has a pool. Here we will stay for the next two nights.

Daily driving distance around 160 km
Included meals: Breakfast
Included accommodation: private double room, hotel pool

Wednesday: Cebu City Tour with Temple of Leah & Taoist Temple

Taoist Temple - We have planned this day without motorcycles because access to the two temples we will visit are only permitted by car. We will provide an air-conditioned car for this trip. The Taoist Temple and the Temple of Leah are both located on a mountain and have great views. After the temples we will go to the Sirao Garden, where you can meet some interesting people. The Sirao Gardens try to reflect Holland with its windmills and has an interesting design. This is how Asians view and understand Holland.

In the evening we go back to the hotel from which we started in the morning. If you want we can explore the city after dinner. In the city you will find countless bars, massage parlors and you can sing karaoke. The distances are so short that you can use a tricycle or a jeepney, or just walk. If you tell our tour guide what you want to experience, he will be happy to take you there.

Cebu City - Day trip approximately 70 km by car
Included meals: breakfast
Included accommodation: own double room with hotel pool
Activities: Cebu City Tour with Temple of Leah, Taoist Temple and Sirao Garden, and Cebu City Night Tour.

Thursday: Ferry trip to Bohol and beach

Bohol Island - At 9 am we leave Cebu. The harbor with the ferries is not far away. At the port it looks like a big market. Many people are traveling with large packages. There are many small stalls.

The speed ferry ride to Bohol takes just under two hours. The inside area is air-conditioned and quite sterile, while the sea wind blows around your nose outside.

Arrived in Bohol, we rent new scooters in the port city of Tagbilaran and drive to a small but very nice hotel on Panglao Island. We spend the afternoon there on the hotel beach under palm trees. Well-known beaches such as Alona Beach and Virgin Beach are close at hand and can be reached at any time.

Included meals: breakfast
Accommodation included: own double room, hotel pool

Activities:

Panglao Island - Arrived in Bohol, we rent new scooters in the port city of Tagbilaran and drive to a small but very nice hotel on Panglao Island. We spend the afternoon there on the hotel beach under the palm trees. Well-known beaches such as Alona Beach and Virgin Island Beach are close by and can be reached at any time.

Friday: Loboc River Boat Trip & Stand up paddle board (Bohol)

Loboc River - The destination for the day is Danao, right in the heart of Bohol. Around 110 kilometers of green mountain roads with unique hilly landscapes and the Chocolate Hills lie ahead of us. There is a lot to discover.

We will make two stops:

We make our first stop after about an hour’s drive on the Loboc River, where we take a boat tour. It will be quite a noble treat, accompanied by a really good buffet. You will only meet tourists here, many from Korea, China or Australia. Enjoy the river trip through tropical jungles and eat delicious food. In the background a Filipino singer sings the old Beatlels songs live. If you are looking for movement, you can disembark halfway. At this stop, Filipinas perform their traditional stick dances. You are invited to dance with us and then come back on board.

Loboc - After the boat tour we drive a few kilometers further up the Loboc River on sandy roads. Here you get a surfboard and can paddle. Stand up padle is easier than it looks. However, after a while it becomes quite exhausting. We made it to the suspension bridge (about 1,000 meters away) and back again. If you’re well trained, you can keep going. There is no time or goal, you can paddle as long as you want and of course you don’t have to stand all the time - it also works while sitting and even lying down.

Before it gets dark we drive the last 70 km to Danao.

Daily driving distance around 110 km
Meals included: breakfast, buffet on the boat
Accommodation included: own double room (state-owned Danao Parkhotel)

Activities:
Loboc River Boat Tour with Buffet
Stand up paddle board trip

Saturday: Danao Adventure Park & atv rife in the Chocolate Hills (Bohol)

Loboc - If you’re still a little tired at breakfast, that’s okay, but at the latest when you jump from the Great Plunge you will be wide awake. First you fall and then you swing between two mountains over a valley. Of course, we will take over the entry to the Adventure Park and also the extra tickets for the jump with the Great Plunge as well as the tickets for the Glass Cliff Walk and two cable cars.

Our stay in the Danao Adventure Park takes about 3 hours. We have lunch about 2 hours away at our next station, in the middle of the Chocolate Hills.

After lunch we go quad there. Quad biking is a really muddy business. For 30 minutes you can let off steam and get really dirty. You can give everything. Thin plastic pants and jackets to pull over are given to you, so your clothes stay reasonably clean. Anything that gets dirty, you can easily rinse off later with a water hose.

Loboc River - In the middle of the Chocolate Hills is the Loboc Adventure Park with several suspension bridges and cable cars.

Have you ever ridden a bicycle on a steel cable over a deep valley? You will have fun.

Sunday: Beach on Bohol and return to Cebu by ferry

Tagbilaran City - A week goes by that quickly. You’ve snorkeled with sea turtles on the reefs, swam with whale sharks, seen waterfalls and maybe even jumped off cliffs. You know temples in Cebu and have come into contact with locals. You have proven your talent at stand up paddle, were brave in the adventure parks. About 620 kilometers of Philippine road with many experiences are behind you.

What do we do on the last day?

After sleeping in, we eat breakfast in the hotel and go to the hotel beach again or we drive over to Alona Beach. We have lunch in Tagbilaran. The port city is only about 20 minutes away from the hotel. In the afternoon you will take the ferry back to Cebu and we will bring you back to your hotel in the evening.
