Manaslu is a well-loved path less traveled, taking you through a region of stunning natural appeal. The area is extensive and diverse, boasting views of the impressive Mt. Manaslu (8163m), the world’s 8th highest peak, and Mt. Annapurna (8091m), the 10th highest. The Manaslu trek showcases a harmonious mix of natural scenery, cultural attributes, and religious significance. The region resides in Nepal’s Gorkha district, sharing a boundary with Tibet to the north. It’s an area with limited access, only allowing a small number of trekkers through with a specific permit. This means participants need to make special arrangements to venture into the Manaslu area. Compared to other routes in the Nepalese Himalayas, this path is less frequented. Manaslu is blessed with a range of attractions, being a conservation area on path to Annapurna too, enabling trekkers the option to re-route and explore the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri regions. The Manaslu trek is an achievable journey, offering majestic panoramic views of the expansive Himalayan range, valleys, and glaciers, culminating in reaching the highest point at Larkey La Pass (5100m).
