- Zeus Dive Center Tenerife - Discover the wonderful world of scuba diving in the protected bay of Abades on Tenerife. No previous experience is needed, and with a maximum of two divers per instructor, you will get very personal attention.
Upon arriving at the dive center, you will be provided with your new outfit, including a wetsuit, scuba tank, dive jacket, and regulator. Even though your instructor can do everything for you while underwater, he or she will explain how the equipment works and how we should behave underneath the surface.
You will then be transported to another world, accessible directly from the beach, and experience how it feels to breathe underwater. You will also discover what it feels like to be completely weightless, as once you have donned your scuba tank and descended into the ocean, that is precisely how you will feel.
During your dive adventure you´ll explore our beautiful, vulcanic house reef. You might see sleeping octopus and be followed by schools of inquisitive fish of a huge variety of shapes, colors, and sizes, like trumpetfish, parrotfish, rays, and starfish. Who knows, you might see a seahorse or come face-to-face with a turtle.

Abades is a quaint village located on the island’s east coast, far from the bustling tourist areas. This makes it a serene spot, featuring a tranquil, sandy, natural beach. Fishing is prohibited here, and with minimal surface activity like swimmers and boats, the ocean teems with life close to the shore.
Our dive sites are conveniently accessible from this beach, just a minute’s walk from our dive center.
If you wish to eat or drink after your dive, there are small restaurants with outdoor terraces and a supermarket right on the charming square in front of our center.
Non-divers can enjoy the beach or explore snorkeling spots.
- A medical form needs to be filled out the divecenter prior to diving
- An official medical clearance is needed to join a dive in case a traveller uses any kind of medication and / or has any medical condition
- Flying is not allowed within 18 hours after your dive
- Reaching heights over 400 meters above sealevel is not allowed within 12 hours after your dive
