Celebrating Eid with Sayed Mahmoud - Celebrated Eid with Sayed Mahmoud and Henny in Cairo. Spent the day touring the pyramids, riding camels, shopping, and visiting the museum. I would highly reccomend them/this tour to anyone planning to visit. He took us everywhere listed and more! So many beautiful heritage sites, tasty treats/local dishes, and new dance moves

Perfect Way To Spend A Long Layover! - I had a 20-hour layover in Cairo and after some lengthy research, I found a personal blog detailing why Emo made their trip to Egypt better than expected. As the author and I were both individuals who don’t generally like to book guided tours (or overly expensive ones at that), this seemed like a great fit despite my personality. In short- they were absolutely correct in their assessment. The day went even better than I could have hoped. My guide and driver Ola and Abdullah were absolute pleasures to be with, very kind and treating me as a friend from the moment they picked me up. They clearly know what they are doing and flawlessly navigated the busy city and sights. Ola seems to have developed a professional eye for photography- she knows all the great shots and managed to capture some really amazing images for me as an added bonus! Our lunch was impeccable and we had a lot of flexibility as to how to spend our time, I spent as long as I needed at each stop. I opted to do the camel ride even though I’m not big for “extras” and must say it felt straight out of a movie as we rode through empty desert in full view of the pyramids. Totally worth it! Ola was an expert of the museum- and gave a very informative tour which added a lot of context that wasn’t posted. Further- at the super cool bazaar, she helped me find exactly what I was looking for ( something very niche and specific) and seamlessly communicated with shop-owners who might otherwise be intimidating on my own. If I ever pass through Egypt again with others, I will definitely be giving Ola and Abdullah a call!

Social Worker, Restorative Justice Practitioner, Reentry Consultant, and Television Host. - I am writing this review to convey my personal satisfaction with Emo Tour services. As a man of color, from the United States, New York City, I had hoped to receive welcoming, friendship and safe passage during my trip. Life does not always provide these things in my country or around the world for people of color. My guide was a fine human being. His name is, Sayed Mahmoud, a native Egyptian. No matter what I write, it will fall short in conveying my experience under his care. He educated us about Egypt, it’s ancient wisdom, values and spirituality. At every step along the journey, we realized we had more than a guide, but a friend and brother. He also protected us, not that we were ever in any kind of danger. He made sure no unwanted affronts happened and moving through Egypt there was no accidents. At one point, A merchant was trying to take advantageous me and he graciously told her, “we are with him and to be treated like his friends and family”. His care was the behavior of more than a guide, but a special human being. I’ve traveled to various countries and never experienced this type of care in this way before. I personally came to Egypt because I needed a Spiritual and historical sabbatical. As a believer in the “One God”, much like Joseph of the Bible ~ Egypt was and remains a place of spiritual presence bigger than others. And it was proven in how Sayed embraced, guided and treated us strangers, yet brother and sister from a land far way. If I had to pick someone in Egypt to teach, guide and protect me, it would be Sayed. He works as a guide, but he is so much more for Egypt. I do not want leave Amir out. He was not able to communicate with us as easier as a Sayed, but his driving, watchful eyes and humanity was felt also. I am from New York City where drivers and driving can be scary, and Egypt’s traffic, cars and people is more than NYC. Amir is king, and I’d also prefer to have him as my driver anytime. Emo tours, these employees are the best! I’d recommend Emo tours and will, to all looking to be in the care of beautiful people while in Egypt. Sayed, Amir, Umo tours ~ thank you and I will not forget you. I will tell of you in my story of Egypt in the United States. May the One be pleased with you, Darryl B.

Sayed is a great guide! - Sayed Mahmoud managed to pack a lot into the few hours I had. He is friendly, knew when the best time of day was to visit Giza (early!), knows all the guards and attendants, and is extremely knowledgeable about Egyptian history (not to mention modern Cairo). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him by name, and will definitely make him my family's guide on their next visit.

Amazing tour of the pyramids, museum, and bazaar! - We were picked up at Cairo airport and the fun journey started immediately. Islam and his driver brought us to the pyramids, museum, and the old bazaar throughout our long layover in Cairo. Islam is probably the best tour guide we’ve ever had and was extremely knowledgeable on each aspect of the tour and answered all of our questions. Highly recommended!!
