Highlights
  • Pyramids of Giza - Pickup from your hotel in either Cairo or Giza by tour guide to start your tour . Giza Pyramids where you Visit the Great Pyramids - Cheops, Chephren & Mykerinos then Visit the Valley Temple where the Priests Mummified the dead body of King Chephren Also there you will have a close-up look at The Sphinx - The legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with its lion body and the head of king Chephren.

Inside any of the pyramids is not included as it requires additional tickets can be bought during the tour

  • Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramid complex bordering present-day El Giza, Egypt. It is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the only one to remain largely intact

  • Khafre’s Pyramid - The second largest pyramid at Giza and in Egypt was built for Khafre, the third pharaoh of the 4th Dynasty during the Old Kingdom Period of Ancient Egypt around 2540 BC. Khafre, also known in history by the Greek name Chephren, was the son of Khufu, who is the Great Pyramid and the grandson of Sneferu, another great builder of Ancient Egypt.

External visit is included but inside the pyramid is not as it requires additional ticket can be bought during the visit

  • Great Sphinx - The Sphinx - The legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with its lion body and the head of king Chephren.
  • The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - One of the world’s most important collections of ancient artefacts, the Egyptian Museum takes pride of place in Downtown Cairo, on the north side of Midan Tahrir. Inside the great domed, oddly pinkish building, the glittering treasures of Tutankhamun and other great pharaohs lie alongside the grave goods, mummies, jewellery, eating bowls and toys of Egyptians whose names are lost to history.

To walk around the museum is to embark on an adventure through time.

  • Liberation Square (Midan El-Tahreer) - Midan Tahrir (Liberation Sq) gained world renown in early 2011, when millions of Egyptians converged here to oust then-president Hosni Mubarak. On a regular day, it’s just your average giant roundabout (traffic circle), albeit one where half-a-dozen major arteries converge. The main reason you’ll pass through is to visit the powder-pink puffball bulk of the Egyptian Museum.
  • Khan Al-Khalili - Established in the 14th century, Khan El-Khalili in Old Cairo has always been an important district for cultural and economic activities. Here is your guide to Khan El-Khalili market and the surrounding area . Tour Finishes with drop off at Customer Hotel in Cairo or Giza

Great experience - Our tour with Mohammad as our guide was incredible. He was very thorough in explaining everything, making sure we asked any questions we had, and overall making sure the tour was a great success. I would definitely recommend a tour with Mohammad as your guide!

Highlights of Cairo in your own time. - Booking through Viator made it very easy to organise my day trip to Cairo from Hurghada. I found a trip that allowed me to see the main highlights and the Tour Company EMO Tours who were excellent. I booked a private tour and thoroughly recommend as the Guide and Driver can flex the day to fit your agenda. Our guide Mohammad met us outside the airport on time. He was really educated in the history of Giza and Pyramids and especially was excellent taking us around the museum and gave us detailed info on each of the exhibits. We were two females travelling on our own but we felt very safe and was a great experience. The guide spoke excellent English .

Great memories in Egypt - Ahmed our tour guide made our trip very memorable. He treated us like family and he went out of his way to ensure that we were safe during the tour. Ahmed is not only a great tour guide but also a professional photographer, he took excellent photos and videos and left us with unforgettable memories. Ahmed is also highly knowledgeable about Egyptian History and was very forthcoming about tourist traps and scams. We highly recommend Ahmed of Viator to all travelers to Egypt. Ahmed and our Driver Mohammed were excellent and were very pleasant and fun to be with.

Highly recommended - Easy arrangements with the Egyptologist for pickup and the tour. Knowledgeable person that ticked all the boxes, highly recommend this tour. Well worth it. The lunch was ok and it was a nice experience. My only recommendation would be to have a lighter version of the historical information that you have to absorb. It’s also a holiday and your mind needs to relax a bit. Info overload.

Cairo Excursion - Great excursion. Loads to see. We were whizzed through some parts of the day. But only later did we realise there was simply so much to fit in! Our guide didn't speak the best of English, but tried his best to help with everything. We enjoyed our day very much.

Decent no-frills tour - The tour was overall fine. Our guide was friendly and professional but not that good at tailoring information to our needs or interests, perhaps because she is relatively new. The company was easy to communicate with in advance through WhatsApp.

Unforgettable and unforgiving - The tour team is comprise of two persons, the driver (Karim) and the guide(Ahmed). The driver is 5* very polite and very professional, but the guide ruin it. I had the tour with my wife and in the middle of the tour, he made a video call with someone that he was trying to hook me up with!!! It was very unpleasant and ruined one experience that had everything to be unforgettable.

The guide destroyed the experience - I was sent a guide who just could not speak English!!! Being a linguist myself, in the beginning I thought it would be fun to struggle a bit, but after 30 minutes I was exhausted and very sad, because this is a once in a lifetime experience... Olivia may be indeed an "arkoolozist" but it took me another hour to understand that "surfax" is actually a sarcophagus and that "kusametik aeparoos" means painted eyebrows. Between visits I was in a car where she was only speaking with the driver under music, or they both spoke on their phones instead of giving a couple of information, like other viator guides do. But the worst part is that every single of my questions had two answers: "Hmmm" and "Yaaa...". I am terribly disappointed because this is so bad for business, for such a lovely country l, and such a waste of valuable time for me, who might never be able to make it back to Egypt...
