Highlights
  • Giza Plateau - Begin your tour with a pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza by a tour guide. The Giza Pyramid Complex, also known as the Giza Necropolis, is located on the Giza Plateau in Greater Cairo, Egypt. It includes the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx of Giza. These structures were all built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Ancient Egypt. The site also features several cemeteries and the remains of a workers’ village.

The Giza Plateau is situated at the edge of the Western Desert, about 9 kilometers (5.6 miles) west of the Nile River in Giza, and roughly 13 kilometers (8 miles) southwest of Cairo’s city center.

  • Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, which is now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, but the site has not been fully excavated.
  • Pyramid of Menkaure - Menkaure’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple.
  • Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple contained several statues of Khafre, some of which were found in a well in the temple floor by Mariette in 1860.
  • Great Sphinx - Get an up-close view of The Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren, standing by the massive funeral complex.
  • Memphis and Sakkara - Visit Memphis, the first capital of Egypt, founded in 3100 BC. Then, explore the Step Pyramid, also known as the Sakkara Pyramid or Zoser Pyramid, the oldest building structure in the world.
  • Bent Pyramid - The Bent Pyramid is an ancient Egyptian pyramid located at the royal necropolis of Dahshur, about 40 kilometers south of Cairo. Built under the Old Kingdom Pharaoh Sneferu (c. 2600 BC), it is a unique example of early pyramid development in Egypt and was the second pyramid constructed by Sneferu.

The Bent Pyramid rises from the desert at a 54-degree angle, but the top section (above 47 meters) is built at a shallower 43-degree angle, giving the pyramid its distinctive ‘bent’ appearance.

  • Dahshur - The Red Pyramid, also known as the North Pyramid, is the largest of the three major pyramids at the Dahshur necropolis in Cairo, Egypt. Named for the reddish hue of its red limestone stones, it is the third largest Egyptian pyramid, after those of Khufu and Khafra at Giza. It is also considered Egypt’s first successful attempt at building a ‘true’ smooth-sided pyramid. Locals call the Red Pyramid el-heram el-watwaat, meaning the Bat Pyramid.

The Red Pyramid was originally covered with white Tura limestone, but only a few of these stones remain at the base corners. During the Middle Ages, much of the white Tura limestone was removed for construction in Cairo, revealing the red limestone beneath. The tour concludes with a drop-off at your hotel in Cairo or Giza.

It stands as a testament to the ingenuity and architectural prowess of the Old Kingdom. This pyramid attracts visitors from around the world with its impressive size and historical significance. Made our experience exceptional - I booked at 12am for 7 am starting tour. I must say excellent service from beginning to end. Very knowledgeable tour Guide, driver was great as well. My husband got sick during the tour. They helped us, by getting a doctor to prescribed medication for my husband. Went to several pharmacies looking for medication. I must say they went above and beyond to help us out. We did manage to complete the tour, they did offer to finish the tour another day if we needed too. We paid for car/driver, tour Guide only. We paid for tickets separately that ended being about 60 us dollars for 2 adults and 1 child. The Guide went with my husband to get our tickets and when they tried to con my husband with the tickets the Guide jump in. Also Guide helps with getting the ppl that want to sell you stuff leave you alone. We were truly blessed to have booked the this company and for them to have hire such caring, professional, and friendly people. Book with this company and you aren't going to regret it.

Awesome Tour. Best tour guide- Kareem - Our day trip to Giza Pyramids, Memphis City, Dahshur and Saqqara Pyramids couldn't be any better. The driver Adel and our awesome tour guide Kareem were already waiting for us at the airport before we arrived. They spend the entire day with us showing us their beautiful city. Kareem was very knowledgeable and apparently very famous as he knew everyone, so looks like we got a VIP tour. Kareem answered each and every question patiently and told us all about the history in a fun and easy way. Adel was amazing driver dropping us at the right spot and picking us again to ensure we don't have to walk too much. Thank you Kareem and Adel for making our day memorable. - Jay and Mel (New Zealand)

I recommend it - The excursion was perfect. Very punctual and after 8 hours, back at the Hotel. The driver took us perfectly through the crazy Cairo traffic. The guide, Reham, speaks perfect Spanish and made the visits easy. You will have to stop at a couple of stores during the tour, but that's understandable and it's also part of the business. Personally I understand and accept it. I made some purchases, even knowing that I was probably being scammed. But these are difficult times and if you can help these people a little, a few euros or so won't make me poorer. I like Egyptians. The food place is touristy and little else. But after several days I haven't gotten sick, so I guess the food was good. Enjoy Egypt and be patient with the tip seekers. All the best,

Nice day of lots of pyramids - I booked the driver only trip so no tickets are included. It's a mix of tourist place and shops. The driver is friendly despite coming 1 hourlate. I managed to tell the driver not to go to the shops so I don't need to waste my time. The Giza was the highlight and the first stop of the trip. All the following places are not as exciting as the first stop. It's a nice day with good memory.

Worth the money - Great day tour, if somewhat exhausting! Ramesis 11 statue at Memphis was the highlight, as too many money hustlers at the other sites, but that is Egypt

Agressive Tour Guide - Well, the tour started very good and he (i think his name was mahmoud) was so informative but then he started to be little passive aggressive regarding times we spent on the sites. We finished 1 hour earlier than what was on the tour because we felt the pressure from him coming and asking us if everything is ok in every minute although he said he would gives us 5-10 minutes to look around. This was our second week in Egypt so we did almost everything so many times like going to papyrus shops or perfume shops so many times. And when he asked us to take us those places we said we have already been taken same places too many times and we would like to pass it, he became more aggressive to the point he stopped answering our questions of sites we visited. We also wanted to not ride a camel around the pyramids as we did before and he again became more aggressive and keep pushing us. He started to only talk with the driver in arabic. The road of the tour is AMAZING but the guide is horrible. Driver was so nice though, he kept smiling us.
