Highlights
  • Gizeh Plateau - begins at 8:00 am. Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo/Giza to start your full-day tour of the Giza Pyramids. Visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, then explore the Valley Temple where priests mummified King Chephren’s body. You’ll also get an up-close look at The Sphinx.
  • Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu) - Khufu’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, now buried beneath the village of Nazlet el-Samman. Diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls have been discovered, but the site remains unexcavated. The valley temple was connected to a causeway, largely destroyed during the village’s construction.
  • Khafre’s Pyramid - Khafre’s pyramid complex features a valley temple, the Sphinx temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. Several statues of Khafre were found in the valley temple, discovered in a well by Mariette in 1860 and during later excavations by Sieglin (1909–10), Junker, and Reisner.
  • Menkaure Pyramid - Menkaure’s pyramid complex includes a valley temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The valley temple once housed several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th Dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added to the valley temple. The mortuary temple also revealed several statues of Menkaure.
  • Great Sphinx - Visit The Sphinx, the legendary guardian with a lion’s body and the head of King Chephren, standing by the vast funeral complex. (2:30 hrs spent)

Lunch is included between visits at a local restaurant, offering a full meal for each person, but beverages are not included. (1 hr spent)

  • Panoramic view of the Pyramids - Experience the timeless wonder of the ancient pyramids with our Panoramic view tour. Marvel at the majestic structures from all angles and take in the breathtaking beauty of these iconic landmarks. Our expert guides will share fascinating insights into the history and significance of the pyramids, making this an unforgettable experience.

  • Memphis and Sakkara - Visit Memphis City, the ancient capital of Egypt, home to the colossal statue of Ramses II and the great Alabaster Sphinx. This city dates back to 3100 B.C. (1 hr spent)

At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

  • Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Visit Sakkara, located 27 km southwest of Cairo. Explore the Step Pyramid, built for King Zoser, an important part of the pyramid evolution from the simple mastaba to its well-known form. (2 hrs spent)

  • Statue of Ramses II - The Statue of Ramesses II is a 3,200-year-old figure depicting him standing. Discovered in 1820 by Giovanni Battista Caviglia at the Great Temple of Ptah near Memphis, Egypt, it is made of limestone and weighs 83 tons. This statue was built to celebrate the victory over the Hittites in the Battle of Kadesh in 1274 B.C.

  • Dahshur lake - Visit the Dahshur Pyramids (Bent and Red Pyramids). The Dahshur area is a royal necropolis in the desert on the West Bank of the Nile, about 40 kilometers (25 mi) south of Cairo. It is known for several pyramids, two of which are among the oldest, largest, and best-preserved in Egypt, built from 2613–2589 BCE. (1 hr spent)

  • Pyramid of Unas - The pyramid of Unas, built in the 24th century BC for the Egyptian pharaoh Unas, is a smooth-sided pyramid. It is the smallest Old Kingdom pyramid but significant for the discovery of Pyramid Texts, spells for the king’s afterlife inscribed into the walls of its subterranean chambers. This tradition of funerary texts began with Unas’s pyramid and continued in the pyramids of subsequent rulers, through the end of the Old Kingdom and into the Middle Kingdom with the Coffin Texts that form the basis of the Book of the Dead.

  • Pyramid of Teti - The Pyramid of Teti, located in Saqqara, Egypt, is an ancient structure built as the final resting place for Pharaoh Teti. It stands as a testament to the ingenuity and architectural prowess of the Old Kingdom. Visitors from around the world are drawn to its impressive size and historical significance. Explore the chambers and corridors of this pyramid to uncover the mysteries of ancient Egypt and immerse yourself in the rich history of this iconic landmark.

Good. It Didn't Stop For Any Unwanted Shopping Experience - What I like about this tour: - Private tour. - My guide, Aly didn't take me to any unwanted 'disguise' shopping experience that usually other tours trying to trick their guests. - Picked me from the airport but willing to drop me in Giza. - Good informative experience. What I don't like about this tour: - All entrance fees not included (just realized with the price I paid, other companies include the entrance fees). - Wasted 40 minutes trying to find the guide at the airport. - Although it says 'snack included' but the guide didn't buy my any snacks. - Although it says 'lunch included' but the guide didn't take me to lunch.
