Travel 40 km through the desert to visit the Black Desert, located in Egypt’s New Valley Governorate. The Black Desert lies slightly north of the White Desert and is closer to the Bahariya Oasis than the Farafra Oasis, approximately 50 km south of Al-Bawiti. The mountains have eroded, covering the desert with a layer of black powder and boulders, which gives the area its name.
• White Desert Camping - Travel by 4×4 vehicle to the White Desert Reserve, situated 45 kilometers north of the Farafra Oasis in Egypt’s New Valley Governorate, about 500 kilometers from Cairo. Declared a natural reserve in 2002, it spans a total area of 3010 square kilometers. At the end of the tour, transfer back to the customer’s hotel.
