Devotees of the top two television series this year, Outlander and Game of Thrones, can’t miss our new themed tour. Feel part of Outlander as we visit the ancestral dwelling of Jamie Fraser, Lallybroch. Listen to Jamie himself as he takes you through Castle Leoch, also known as Doune Castle. This specialized tour lets you set foot on critical locations from Jamie Fraser’s life in Outlander - Lallybroch (Midhope Castle), his familial residence, Linlithgow Palace, known as Wentworth Prison, Blackness Castle or Fort William, and Doune Castle, also referred to as Castle Leoch. Bear in mind, Lallybroch hasn’t seen residents for over a century. Doune Castle’s Great Hall is where the Feast of Winterfell was filmed. Our first stop is Lallybroch, shown in the 7th season as Midhope Castle. Dating back to the 15th Century, John Martyne, the laird of Medhope had it constructed and it was rebuilt in the mid-1600s. Doune Castle, a popular backdrop in Game of Thrones as well as Outlander (as Castle Leoch) and Monty Python and the Holy Grail is next on our visit. This tour is open for last minute bookings.
