Learning to ride a bole - Mike came to our home to help teach our two youngest boys to ride. Mike made adjustments to the bike so their seat was at the right height and the brakes were comfortable. The boys had fun playing games and doing activities that were helping them to find their balance. We now should be able to encourage them to use their bikes more and progress to putting the pedals back on. Thanks for your help Mike.

High spec bikes, good route and good coaching - Mike's bikes are really high spec and well maintained (practically brand new). As a road rider, I'm strong on the bike but a bit of a chicken off road. Under Mike's friendly coaching I was able to trust the bike and myself a lot more to enjoy the ride fully. Countryside, views were amazing definitely gave me a longing to explore more off road.

Superb coach - guaranteed to make you a better rider - Great coaching session with Mike, who is a great coach, making sure that everyone learns something new, whatever their skill level. Great knowledge of routes in and around Aberdeen, and a great fleet of quality full-suspension bikes. Highly recommended.

Great tips on technique - Mike took me on a trip around the Garlogie and Loch of Skene area and then onto the Barmekin of Echt. I own a primitive mountain bike but Mike lent me a proper one and gave me loads of invaluable hints and tips on how to go up and downhill easily and safely which were new to me. We also had nice chats about the history of the area and stopped for a coffee and sandwich break at a nice spot in the sun with a good view. The pace was good, always enjoyable and no lung busting ascents which I was a bit nervous about. So a good morning out, highly recommended!

Mountain bike experience in Aberdeenshire - Mike led a small group for a MTB experience in the Grampian hills near Aboyne. He selected a group of similar ability and led us through the woods and onto the hills, pointing out local history, wildlife and how to improve MTB skills. It was a fun day, I learned a lot and overall had a great time. Mike does a lot of research into the area he is riding which adds a lot to the experience. I would thoroughly recommend!

Beginners ride in Aberdeen - Loved this exploration of countryside and history so close to Aberdeen. The bike ride was enjoyable and challenging in parts, interspersed with the perfect amount of information about the local area. The guide planned it all really well, with the right stops and routes that suited all of us. The technical riding tips were excellent and it was like a short holiday. Recommended

Scotland at its best! - Spent a long weekend in Aberdeenshire with my 13 yr old son. Mike”s expert guiding and understanding of both our riding skills made for a unforgettable life experience. We can’t wait to get back for more amazing Scottish Mountain biking and Mikes expert trail finding knowledge. Totally recommend.

A great bike experience - The kids and I have been lucky enough to ride with Mike on a number of occasions around Aberdeenshire. He's great fun to ride with and has a wide range of knowledge of both mountain biking and the local area. We've all picked up a lot of good technique skills from him, as well as discovering some fun trails around Scolty and Deeside.
