A good history tour of the Dewar family and Scotch whisky - Lots of history on this tour. Aberfeldy is originally John Dewar and Sons, one of the pioneer companies of Scotch whisky. Though it's a Bacardi company now the visitor's center is full of Dewar family history and worth the trip. Staff is very good at convincing you to buy a bottle with delicious samples too. Be warned, and check your personal exemption for taxes on the way home!

Great experience!!!! - Would like to give a shout out to Roy! It was a great tour. Well informed, funny, personable, and a great personality. We enjoyed a delightful scone in the cafe area after our tour and loved the atmosphere of the establishment. We really enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommend. I learned so much about whiskey today.

The Connoisseur Tour - Brilliant tour with our guide Roy. Answered all our questions during and after the tour and kept us entertained. This was our second visit in 2 years and found it had slightly changed for the better. Will definitely do it again

A very beautiful distillery tour - The tour begins with a beautiful museum on the history of the founder and the brand. Then our guide Rebecca accompanied us through the stages of whisky making, passing by the fermentation tanks, the gleaming stills and the aging warehouse, where we have a first tasting of Aberfeldy 21 years Madeira cask. She then took us to an interactive room where the Master blender of Dewars explains her work. Finally Rebecca gives us a tasting lesson of two whiskeys before joining the bar where three other glasses await us. All whiskeys are given in bottles for those who drive.

Lovely experience - We did the tour today with Roy as our guide. He was entertaining, humorous and all inclusive. It isn’t easy to keep young children entertained but he involved them at every opportunity. Loved the tour and would highly recommend it.

You must visit ! - Fabulous time with Roy on the ‘yellow lanyard’ Connoisseur Experience with nibbles tour. Full of knowledge and good humour. He was generous with time after the tour when we had more questions about the casks and finishes. A mind of information: thank you. Thank you Dewar’s, and Roy, for making our afternoon the highlight - so far - of our Scottish holiday.

Great tour! - Absolutely great tour! Roy, our tour guide, was very enthusiastic and helpful, with a lot of funny jokes! He made me, a 19 year old with very little knowledge, enthusiastic about whiskey despite never having any before today!

A must for Whiskey lovers or others interested in learning about Scotch. - Ian was fantastic and the whiskey was great. I’ve done the Bourbon Trail and this was right up there as far as being very informative and the distillery is gorgeous.

Anders - Went with Rabbies from Edinburgh of which this was included. At the desiler, we got Roy as a guide, which worked well! Be pleasant, humorous and well informed. We got there, did the walking tour and then a whiskey tasting. We were there on a Sunday which meant they closed at 4pm. This meant that after the tour we only had time to test whiskey for about 5-10 minutes. This was very sad and it would have been good if they had informed us about the time so we could have had more time to test the whisky. 5/5 if we had more time.
