Perfect for Beginners! - A unique and fun experience! Arel is super kind and patient and an encouraging teacher. Neither of us had ever been ice climbing before and so it is very doable and enjoyable for beginners. 100% recommend!

The best, even for beginners! - My friend and I decided to do this experience on a whim, and both of us are so happy we did. Although I have minimal rock-climbing experience, and my friend doesn’t have rock climbing experience and is afraid of heights, we both had an awesome time! The routes worked up in difficulty and everyone in the group agreed that, although we were a little intimidated at first, the ice climbing experience was so worth it! Anika (sorry if I misspelled her name) was a great guide and helped all of us learn how to climb and feel safe doing it. All in all - 10/10!

Super FUN and COLD ice-climbing. - My daughter climbed up a frozen waterfall. It was fun and very COLD. She had a great time. She did the easy route and then the harder ones twice. She loved chilling with a very international crowd. Robin, the guide, lent her gloves because her hands were cold. It was like -24 below!!

Unforgettable and challenging experience in Abisko - On 6 December 2023, I joined the ice climbing organised by Abisko Adventure. This is my first time to do ice climbing and Mr. Aril Petersson and his colleague are fantastic at what they do. I am so grateful I had you not only as my tour guide but also my instructor. I thank you for everything, safety equipments, cheering up and encouraging me to climb more and more rounds, otherwise I might give up since the 1st round. And thanks for the red mug. I like it very much. It is such an unforgettable and amazing experience If I go to Abisko again, I will choose Abisko Adventure as my top list. Awesome - Aril is an awesome climbing guide! He explained the basics of ice clibing really well and made me feel secure at all time when I was trying. After this introduction I feel like I wanna get into ice climbing more in the future :) Thanks Aril!

Great experience! - Both guides were super friendly and made us feel safe all the time. People with different ages (20-65) and fitness levels were able to enjoy the experience. Highly recommended! Tip: watch out for your valuable/new pants as the shoes crampons are quite sharp!

Great experience and challenge! - Most memorable part was almost giving up halfway but then pushing through with help from our guide’s advice and motivation! We made it to the top!

Excellent company, fantastic experience, terrific guides - My wife and I had done the glacier walk a couple of days before, and had a wonderful day with our guide Ford, who was again our guide who know led us into the long 8 hour tour into the glacier together with his colleague Veronica, another amazing guide from the Mica company. Again it was clear that this company does a wonderful job in hiring excellent people to make sure that the customers are safe and have an incredible experience. As my wife and I grew up in Austria and did a lot of skiing and mountaineering I think we know the difference. Like on the shorter hiking tour, we were a small group of six with two guides - both of our guides were clearly well trained, experienced, knew a lot about the glacier, the mountains and also have a wonderful sense of humor. We had great fun. They are also clearly very enthusiastic mountaineers, and explained and showed us peculiarities of the glacial topography and nature. Already the hike was beautiful (ca 2 hours each direction), but the climbing was just terrific - it was the first time I did ice-climbing and Ford and Veronica gave us excellent intro and guidance -- everyone managed to climb the top - I could get addicted to this. It was a fantastic day, and I can't thank Ford and Veronica enough for this stunning experience and beautiful day!

Amazing experience - My boyfriend and I did the Ice Climbing, it was definitely one of the must do's in Abisko. We both had cero experience doing it and however, Aril made us feel very safe and confident. He made sure each of us would be able to have the correct technique and he provided us with all the safety equipment. We climbed in three different spots of the same cascade variating the difficulty level. Now I’m looking forward to keep practicing in my home country. Thanks Aril!
