Eastern Mangrove - Abu Dhabi Eastern Mangrove Lagoon National Park Kayaking is a Guided 2 hours ride.

The guests are required to reach the tour starting point at-least 15 minutes prior to the tour to prepare for the tour with safety equipment and instructions.

The experienced Kayak guide will first give you a brief idea about the route of the tour and you will commence paddling a kayak boat along the eastern mangrove marina and mangrove forest cover.

Abu Dhabi Eastern mangrove National park has a large ecological value and bio diversity. During this ride you will be able to see the inner mangroves, local flora , fauna, aquatic birds etc.

By the time you reach the sand bank at the halfway of the kayak ride , the guide will stop with you for a while to rest for sometime and serve you some fruit salad .

Then again you will paddle back along the mangrove waters to return to the tour starting point

Starting this engaging journey, the tour guide will brief you about safety measures and walk you through the 2-hour itinerary. Post-paddling, a fruit salad will be served to replenish your energy at the final point, the Eastern Mangroves Promenade.

Kayaking was the best way to see the Mangroves - Our leader was really good and we made the decision as a group to walk through some areas dragging our boats because the water was not high enough which was hard work but fun. It was so interesting speaking to the leader who was very knowledgeable.

Magical Dawn Excursion to an Urban Mangrove Forest - The tour guide was very friendly and candid. He answered all my questions and provided additional information. We toured deep into the mangrove forest, and saw a variety of birds and fish. Also had time for a swim in beautiful warm water. Magical at dawn!

Unexpected pleasure - I hadnt expected to go kayaking in Abu Dhabi, so I was happy to have the chance to do that. The guide and tour company were very professional and the kayak trip itself was quite nice.

A good way to get some exercise and escape from the city. - Surprising to find a mangrove lagoon so near to Abu Dhabi city. Nice scenery. Group size was about right. Quite strenuous for senior citizens like ourselves, but we just about managed to keep up with the youngsters. Very pleasant and efficient guide took excellent photos of us kayaking among the mangroves, although his knowledge of birdlife was rather limited.

Floating in the mangroves - Lovely way to spend the morning floating through the mangroves. Be prepared for traffic noise, as it’s still on the edge of the city and take lots of water! Remarkable the efforts that Abu Dhabi has put into regenerating these mangroves. Enjoyable for sure

A great experience overall - The trip was great and the wildlife and professional guide. Unfortunately, Viator directions are set up to send you to a private dead end road, they are not set up to send you to the Eastern Mangroves resort which is where the kayak company is located. We had to back track and take a guess and ask a number of different tour operators. This would have been a five star experience if the directions were set correctly.
