A little taste of F1 😎 - The experience for me from booking to driver briefing was very professional... and then the driving experience. Out of this world!!! I would do this over again if I have an opportunity. It is scary initially but as you test the limits the thrill moves to another level of excitement. I would recommend this for any car enthusiast who has the need for speed. Driving a formula racing car on an F1 circuit definitely ticked off by bucket list 😇 I'm officially addicted 👌👌👌

Absolutely amazing life experience, what a prestigious moment driving on the Yas marina Circuit - I see lots of comment on yas marina circuit. After being there and tried the Yas 3000 experience. Wow ! That’s just how I feel. The staff are amazing, Mr Samy absolutely helpful and kind. His level of coordination is marvelous. Mr Martin ( The all in one guy) is someone that stayed in our heart, never met such amazing soul. His explanation and passion for those engines is something apart, briefing was amazing and straight ahead I would recommend all of you to follow exactly the instructions and before going learn about the apex and look up for online video and remember its only an experience you should learn first how to drive it understand it. Then learn the circuit well and follow the instructor. For those having difficulties in reaching there take a Cab and on google map enter Yas marina Guest parking or Gate 18 look for a black sign when you’re there its written YAS 3000 follow the sign and then straight till you stop by a building. Amazing experience! Ask questions and listen well

Good but the numbers are wrong - I liked the cars and the sound but on the Website are lies. The have NEVER 260HP, maximum 120-130hp. My own Formula 4 with 205Hp is so much quicker. Also the drivingtime is not 15 minutes, it is 10-11 Minutes and that is not ok in my opinion. The experience of driving a single seater is great but to be scamed like this is not ok.

not as exciting as I expected - Not worth for the amount of money you spent. I drive faster with my car back home. You are shown a track and when you are there you drive a smaller version of the shown track. It had lot of curves and have to use the second gear (as per the instructions of the "instructor")

Never buy a video of experience (scam) - Don't buy the video, I pay 210 dirhams and received an one lap, the other driver saw the video and have a lot laps. Probably my camera have some problem because my video beginning at lap 7. That a scan. The experience it's amazing, I will again if have slot available, but never buy a video experience. It's better pay for a cap t shirts but never buy a video.

Thiefs - I went there with my boyfriend who had booked the experience. The directions were totally unclear and staff led us to the wrong gate which made us miss briefing time. After that, they were not even able to give us a refund. Totally disappointing service

Unclear directions and no refund! - The directions to the location are unclear and made me miss the briefing time. Once I reached Yas Marina Circuit, there is no indication of the Formula 3000 experience. I called the number on my invoice and asked security people but received false information which was to go to a different gate. This made me lose a considerable amount of time and I arrived too late for the briefing. The staff asked me to ask for a refund by email but then, to my surprise, they made 0 effort to refund me. For such an expensive experience in a service oriented country like the UAE, this is very very disappointing.

Yas Marina Experience 3000 gone wrong - Copy of my e-mail to Yas Marina Circuit about my experience: "To be brief, I will try to use bullet points as much as possible to detail my experience: - To be begin, let me say that I am car enthusiast since I was a child and that this experience meant to me a lot for two reasons. First, I dreamed about having such an experience at the pinnacle of racing (Yes Racetrack) and second, from where I come from (Colombia) racing is very much under developed so finding an experience like the Yas 3000 is absolutely unique. - The sales process was impeccable. Shihab did a great job selling me the experience, guiding me through everything and most importantly, making the entire process smooth and exciting. - When I arrived everyone treated me in a warm and welcoming attitude which was great. There were two of us, another client from Italia and me. - During the instructions we were told that an instructor will always be in front of us and that we should never overtake him. However, it was not specified the manner in which the instructor will be in front nor was detailed to me that letting him go and catching up was not permitted. - On the pit line, the person guiding me tells me “let’s go with the other client first” and I see that he starts, in that every moment I look inside the cockpit to be familiar with the car. When the person guiding the cars tells me to go, for some reason I start to think that the car in front of me was the other client and that we were forming a line composed of: Instructor, the other client and then me. Not that the instructor was the car right in front of me. - Coming out of the pit lane, for safety and understand the car's maneuverability and handling, I start to turn the car left to right (similar to what is known as heating the tires - a very common practice in racing). I immediately realize that the car is absolutely safe and comfortable and that I was going to have an amazing experience. - We drive the first lap at a pace that I thought was unusually slow considering that the experience goes for only 7-8 laps. During the second lap we increase the speed a little bit. - Considering the kind of experience I was having, I start to think two things: 1. The client (pilot) in front of me is driving in a slow manner because that is the experience he wants to have but as a consequence, he will spoil my driving faster experience. 2. May be he is experiencing technical difficulties and that is the reason he is driving so slow. My rationale for thinking this was that in all the videos I saw on YouTube and by watching the people driving in the circuit before us, it was very clear that the speed we were driving was not the one you have normally. - Hence, my thinking was “if this is the experience I am going to have, at least, let me try letting him go and then catch up, to feel a little more the car and the experience of driving a formula 3” - After the third lap, which is also unusually slow considering the other people having the experience, the driver in front of me signals me to go into pits. In this moment I start to think the following: 1. Indeed he (the client in front of me) is having technical difficulties and that is why he is pitting. 2. This is going to ruin my experience because in 20 minutes time (counting), going to pits will waste time and my car is working perfectly. As a result, I will not enjoy the experience fully. 3. The instructor, did not go into pits and he continued to drive around the track. If I want to continue to have the experience, I should go chase him and continue with the remaining laps. - I do not go into pits and try to go and chase the instructor. - After the second turn, he cuts me in front and all the lights turn to go into pits. - The person in pits, tells me in a very kind and understanding manner (which I applaud), that I cannot overtake the instructor. I think that by my reaction and words which were “I am so sorry, I got confused and I thought the car in front of me was the other client!”, he realized that whichever mistake I made, was not intentional. - I understood the situation immediately and I know by heart that what I did was not safe. - We go back on the track and the instructor (A man that had the name Charles on his helmet and the New Zealand flag) decides to take me on the remaining laps on 2nd and 3rd gear, driving in really slow manner around the track as you can see on the videos I uploaded and that you can validate on your recordings of the day. - Once we finish the experience, I get out of the car and immediately claim to the instructor for what I consider was handling the entire situation in a very poor manner. - I go and tell Francesca what happened and after listening to me, she tells that I can go back and take two more laps to get the experience. - I hop on the car very excited but after 5 minutes, they instruct me to get out and tell me “you are not driving anymore today for what you did” - She tells me that letting the car in front go and chase was wrong (which I understand but it was never mentioned during the introduction), that warming up the tires is not allowed (a safe practice in racing that she claims mentioned but I do not recall her saying that specifically) and that I got the entire experience, something that I categorically disagree with because the overall average driving speed was 21.5 MPH. I believe this number says it all. - After 1-2 hours long discussion and experience very frustrating moments that literally caused me to cry after, the only solution I am provided is that the person in charge of the experience (who I also applaud for his great and welcoming attitude), will write a complaint claim that will go under study. In summary, I did not get the experience, I felt very frustrated for the way Charles led the situation, and what was supposed to be my up-front birthday present and one of the best days of my life turned to one of the days I will remember with deep frustration. As a way of feedback, I suggest the following: 1. Try to understand the expectations of each client (May be some want to drive fast or may be some just want to drive the car…) 2. Try to understand each driver’s experience and ability in driving 3. Explain in detail that if more than one client is taking the experience, the driver in front is the instructor and only the instructor 4. I understand why the previous three could not happen but what I think is a major mistake is not introducing the instructor to the driver. I consider this one to be of outmost importance (even though drivers are not supposed or trained to deal with clients) to build rapport, leadership feeling and most of all understanding expectations to get the fullest out of the experience. 5. In case of a situation like me, I think is were good leadership is required, not punishment. If Charles would have spoken to me in a positive manner, we would have go out to the track again and none of this would have happened and everyone would be happy. In this case, the only one that had a experience is the one should not have had a bad experience: the client. I sent several messages explaining the situation in detail through the “Contact us” form on the webpage, I talked to Francesca, the person in charge of the experience, Shihab, and now you. My prentions are simple, I will be in Dubai until Sunday night (I flight out that night), if there is a chance for me to take a few laps, I take it. If not, I would appreciate if you at least, refund me the money I paid for the experience that did not happened." The answer: "Hello Juan, Greetings from Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Formula 1 Concierge! Thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding your recent experience with us. We are very sorry to hear that you have encountered an issue with your previous drive experience and we take this matter very seriously. Please be assured that we investigated the situation thoroughly and take the necessary steps to ensure that the issue does not occur again. However, as your safety and our team is our top priority, we cannot offer any compensation that may compromise safety or cause further inconvenience. Please know that we value your feedback and take it very seriously. We will work diligently to improve our products and services based on your feedback. We value your concern and hope that we can continue to serve you in the future." Their answer says it all... If you want to drive a fast car in the UAE, I would strongly suggest the following: - Renting a super car and drive in the highway (the speed limits are high so get to driver faster that I did and enjoy a nice car) - Renting a super car and pay for a time in a circuit - Other circuit experiences
