The Abu Dhabi National Aquarium stands as the biggest aquarium in the Middle East, providing a safe haven to 46,000 animals that reside across 10 different zones. These zones range from the tropical seas of the Pacific to the freshwater environments of the Amazon, from the icy domains of the Arctic to the Mediterranean’s cave systems. The aquarium is home to more than 300 distinct species which includes over 200 sharks and rays from 25 diverse species. Every creature here was acquired according to the rules set by CITES and are under the care of a group of 80 marine life professionals.
The Aquarium’s prime location, neighbours five-star hotels, making it easily reachable from Abu Dhabi island, claiming it a prime attraction for both the local people and visitors alike. With no towering buildings nearby, Al Qana offers a welcome respite with uninterrupted panoramic views across the water to the prominent Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the nearby Memorial Park.
- No children under the age of 12 will be admitted to The National Aquarium unless they are accompanied by an adult aged 16 years or above.

- All Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, not for resale and will become automatically void on any transfer for value.
- Adherence with the Health & Safety signage posted around the premises will insure your wellbeing.
- Guests must be dressed appropriately at all times whilst at The National Aquarium – this includes wearing a top and shoes. If guests are wearing clothing that is indecent or likely to cause offence in any way, they will not be permitted entry.
- Tampering with fire alarm system and/or any life support system is not allowed and will result in fines and penalties. The only transport devices which are permitted within The National Aquarium are wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
- Unnecessary noise (such as that from the use of radio sets and other electrical equipment), or any behavior likely to cause annoyance to other guests or confusion of any kind is not permitted in any part of The National Aquarium.
- Pets or animals of any nature are expressly prohibited in The National Aquarium
- Smoking (including of e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited inside and in premises owned and/or operated by The National Aquarium.
- All items, belongings and other property brought onto the premises by guests shall be at such guest’s own risk and The National Aquarium accepts no liability for the loss or damage to such property.
