These enormous rock carvings are considered the most magnificent and beautiful temples commissioned during Ramses’ reign, and among the most stunning in Egypt. This iconic site, located on the western banks of the Nile, was dedicated to Ramses the Great and his queen Nefertari. Guests can join their guide to explore these temples and learn intriguing historical facts about the site, including why they were dismantled and relocated in the 1960s.
