Private tour Acapulco - Such a chill fun day setting our agenda and touring the city at our leisure. Could not ask for a more knowledgeable tour guide to make suggestions and lead the charge.

Thank you Benny and Mario for a wonderful experience - Let me begin by saying this tour far exceeded expectations!!! Our guides picked us up at the ship. We were not expecting two guides; a driver to drop of off at each location accompanied by a second guide. It was very convenient, as the city was very busy with the winter holiday traffic. Both Benny and Mario shared a wealth of historical and cultural info about Acapulco. We were welcome to request any site to see, but they brought us to the best of Acapulco, as well as everything on my list. A private tour of the Los Flamingos, hotel built in the thirties on the highest cliffs of Acapulco (Tarzan lived here!). Benny introduced us to the original owner who was friendly and eager to shake our hands. We were able to take some great photos out over the sea. Our experience at La Quebrada, where the famous cliff divers perform, was second to none. Benny weaved us in away from the crowds to the best seats; front row, out of the hot sun with a nice beverage. Best of all he introduced us to the divers and we took pictures with them. Our last stop was a the Chapel of Peace with gorgeous and memorable views over Acapulco Bay. Mario was very timely picking us up after each attraction. He was much more than a driver. What an incredible Acapulco history buff. Thank you both for an enjoyable and memorable trip!! Your friends from Boston, MA.

Rudy and Roger met our group of 8... -
Rudy and Roger met our group of 8 adults right on time. Because it was a private tour, we were able to add things we wanted to see in addition to the places they wanted to go. Only disappointment was our tour was on a Monday and the fort was closed. They offered to take us back another time! Wow! We visited all the highlights of Acapulco including the Chapel of Peace, High Cliff Divers, Zocalo, Diego Rivera mural, Beach, Los Flamingoes Hotel, to name a few. We also were taken up into the neighborhoods to see how locals live in the city. Every question was answered and many stories shared. We asked to be dropped at a restaurant instead of our resort and they made the reservations for us before our arrival. Bottled water was always available. At the end of the day, Rudy asked for our email addresses so he could send a link to all the photos and video he took. Yep. The next day, I had all the photos! FREE of charge! What a great touch to a terrific day! Thanks for the memories!!

Romeo and Temo, our guide and driver... -
Romeo and Temo, our guide and driver in Acapulco were great, especially with my husband's wheelchair and giving us a private tour. My only complaint is that once we were picked up for the tour, Rudy, the tour owner, told us we would not be able to see the cliff divers unless we booked a longer tour as the performance would not start until after 1 PM and our tour ended at 12:30. We had selected a shorter tour due to my husband getting tired easily. If we had been told this earlier we could have changed the time for pickup from the cruise terminal so that we could have seen the cliff divers. Our fellow ship cruisers who took the cruise ship excursion were able to see the divers in a morning show. I am not sure whether tor not he morning shows are only for the cruise boat excursions booked through the cruise lines, but be aware of this problem.
