AMAZING VACATION!!! - As soon as I was confirmed, our guide Nurudeen got in touch with me. He stayed in constant contact at all times. Once we met up with him, he took care of every single detail. We had night safaris, day safaris, walking safaris and a canoe safari! Our room at the wildlife refuge overlooked a watering hole where we woke up to elephants swimming! We went there on our walk and were very close to them! (But there is an armed Ranger who accompanied all visitors so we were always safe.) It was an amazing experience in a fabulous place. All the staff was friendly and helpful. We could not have had a better time! If there are any criticisms, it is that the motel could definitely add some variety to the menu and a little stronger water pressure in the showers. Minor inconveniences for the adventure of a lifetime. We felt taken care of and safe at all times. But we also felt like we really were in the wild. It was perfect. There were also side trips to the oldest mosque in Ghana and a shea butter making village! Thank you, TripAfrica and Nerudeen. I highly recommend this safari!
