Thoroughly recommended, must do. - We were taken to the Karkum National Park Canopy Walk, a private tour of Elmina Castle and had lunch and some chill time at Coconut Grove Beach Resort. Nii Laaye hosted us throughout, Nii was uplifting and very informative throughout. We had a guide at the Canopy Walk and Elmina Castle, they added a lot of extra knowledge. Fred at Elmina was exceptional, one of the most knowledgeable and informative guides I’ve had anywhere where in the world. Fred is a brilliant communicator and helped us understand Elmina in manner entirely appropriate to the site and its grave history. The mix of the beautiful but challenging Canopy Walk with the compelling, brutal and barbaric history of Elmina Castle. Followed by good food and time to decompress at the beach, along with Nii’s uplifting approach, made for a great tour. One of the bests of done anywhere. Word of warning, the minibus driver is fast and very Ghanaian in style. It feels a bit scary to those not used to it.

Ghana’s Finest Tour Company - I do not have enough positive words about my experience with our guide Nii. I will start by saying communication was top notch. I received a phone call, email, and text confirmation for our trip. Pick up was stress free and early. The van was comfortable and had great air conditioning. Nii was knowledgeable and friendly and curated a beautiful day for us to learn all about our locations. Book this company for your day adventures you will be well taken care off and you will learn about this beautiful country, its history and the deep scare of the transatlantic slave trade.

Excellent Experience - It was sobering to hear how Africans (my ancestors) were treated during the slave trade. Those same atrocities made their way to the American shores. Understanding one’s history is crucial. It was a great learning opportunity. FRANK DOE was the perfect guide. I plan to use him in the future on a return trip. He knows the region very well. He is an excellent driver. He ensured that safety was his top priority. Highly recommend this tour with Frank.

One trip off our bucket list - This tour was filled with a roller coaster of emotions. The joys of the canopy walk at Kakum National Park to the sorrow of seeing first hand the treacherous conditions that our ancestors faced at Cape Coast and Elmina castle. Our guide Makafui, had a relaxed and incredibly knowledgeable presence. She didn’t simply quote content from a script but instead gave us an insight to the history and political culture of Ghana. This definitely was worth every penny and we would highly recommend this day trip!.

Visit Cape Coast and Elmina to know why you must fight against injustice!! - It was a most delightful trip as we had a wonderful guide in Makafui and a very good driver in Ofuri (I hope I got the name right!!). Two guests from the UK joined the trip and made it more lively. Makafui is very knowledgeable and gave us an insightful commentary the whole way. She also made sure that we were well cared for. I loved the forest canopy walk and the age-old trees. The visit to Cape Coast and Elmina castles were very informative. The guide who showed us through the castle was clear and passionate about the fact that now we can go through the "door of no return" and come back through the "door of return" - symbolising our freedom. She also emphasised our individual responsibility to stand up against injustice. A trip to Ghana cannot be complete without a visit to these two castles and getting to grips with its history. I recommend this tour with Frank Foe wholeheartedly.

Amazing adventure & education - My family and I had an amazing day with Frank. The tour was carefully and thoughtfully curated starting at Kakum and ending at Cape Coast castle. Lunch was provided and frank handled everything. Frank is patient, kind, and very helpful. My family was truly grateful to have booked with him and has booked him again for an Accra city tour. He definitely made our first adventure in Accra a great experience. The guides at each location were passionate and knowledgeable. Clean and updated 12 passenger van, he showed up on time and waited patiently (my family were a few minutes late, and he was very helpful. Thank you so much Frank for a wonderful day.

The transportation selected was not up to par. - The company transpiration was poor and created a bad experience. The first vehicle broke down and we had to be picked up by someone else to go part of the distance. The third car got us into an automobile accident. Thankfully no one was injured. We then had to be taken by taxi service to our destination. Finally a 4th car picked us up to take us to the remaining parts of the tour. The company needs to improve their transportation service of cars. Other than that the actual tour guide was nice and well informed but the main parts of the tour are conducted but guides who work for the individual stops on the tour.
