When we return from the market you will sip on locally made spirits (Emergency, Hatso, Uwuba) all made from akpeteshie and soaked with local bark or tree leaf. Then learn how to pound fufu, banku, jiji or rice balls all while preparing the stew/soup you decide on: Oakra soup, Ground nut soup, Palm-nut soap, Light soup or Plain soup.

Here, you’ll understand how to ‘pound’ our staple dishes like Banku, Fufu, Jiji, or rice balls on an open fire. Subsequently, a stew or soup of your preference (diet-dependent) will be prepared. While cooking, savor an array of local spirits to give you a true taste of indigenous life, all while watching the hustle and bustle of the community and their interactions in our local Ga language. This experience will surely make you feel like a true Ghanaian.
