Good times - So much fun was had. Citizen Yaw and Kwame put together an amazingly joyful trip for us. When someone thoroughly enjoys what they do, their enthusiasm leaks onto all those around them. If you considering booking with these guys... JUST DO IT. I do think our whole trip can be summed up with just one word...KELEWELE!!!😂😂😂

Awesome experience on my first trip to Ghana - Really great experience with new ans old friends. All the activities were beginner- intermediate friendly and for young and older people. Really enjoyed the Elmina Castle tour and to accommodation. Yaw and Kwame were both great hosts and went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and well looked after. Even with the challenge of slow food service and poor customer service from a local restaurant, the guys kept their cool and handled everything so positively.

Pre-Wedding Weekend Excursion to Elmina - We just came back from a pre-wedding weekend getaway and Citizen Yaw and team handled a group of 35 adults and children like they were not herding cats (and they were 😂). We were assembled on a luxury coach with AC with scheduled early morning pick ups, operating on European time (punctual). We departed Accra’s west side at about 7:45am and arrived at Kukum National Park around 12:45pm. We had a couple of bathroom breaks en route from Accra to Cape Coast which was great for the kids so that slowed us down a bit. We did the treetop walk at Kukum national park and it was great for all ages even my 4 year old did it and had a great time. We headed to our resort for a buffet lunch, arriving about 4pm. Traditional dancers entertained us that evening. We also scheduled a night out which we unanimously opted out of due to the long day which shows more our age than the wonderful tour team 🤣. They were even able to assist with organising surprise birthday cakes for a couple of friends. The next day was a relaxing start. We could swim and visit the beach in the morning then headed for the Elmina tour and boat ride after lunch. We left Elmina just before 10:45 am and arrived in Accra around 2:45pm with one stop so it was quicker to get back. Upon return to Accra we fit in a visit to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and a drive around Independence Square. The team were so patient and friendly and there was no stress at all. Whatever we needed was taken care of, even tummy meds. What more could we ask? Great job guys we appreciate you.

Highly recommend! - This was my first time in Ghana and couldn’t have asked for a better Cape Coast/Elmina experience. The tour was so informational and our guide Yaw, and driver, Frank, were so attentive and made us comfortable throughout the journey. Yaw is an Elmina native and provided unique insights into the culture. From the adventures of Kakum to the walls of the Elmina slave dungeons, this is truly a humbling and special experience everyone should partake. Thank you Yaw and Frank!

Best team to discover Ghana - Discovering Ghana with Yaw has been a really great experience! We travelled from Accra to Kumasi.. down to the coast and in the Volta Region. The whole trip was full of adventures, local experiences, tasty food and filled with fun and energy! Yaw took very good care of us. He has a lot of knowledge on the country and always had an answer to our questions. Frank was the best driver and it was great to have him as part of the team. My recommendations: go to the markets! They are fantastic. The harbor in Elmina is a magical place. The Volta Region is beautiful and standing underneath the waterfall was a crazy experience which I wouldn't want to miss. For me the experience in Ghana is not just about the adventures and beautiful landscapes. It's about the amazing and welcoming people I met all over the trip. We had a lot of fun travelling with both and I can totally recommend to book a trip with them and enjoy Ghana ❤️💛💚

Ghana Trip and Wedding 2022 - Kwame was our Event Planner for our wedding and also my sons chaperone during our honeymoon and stay in Cape Coast. He provided constant feedback and assisted me while oversees to create a memorable day both my husband I will never forget. During our time there he made sure my sons gained knowledge of the country, participated in cultural activities and created life long memories. Lastly he provided transportation from and to Accra. He was always professional, polite, and helpful with any issues or concerns. I recommend him and his service to anyone that desires to see and experience Ghana. We will definitely will call on him again and recommend him for any future trips to Ghana.

An interesting sneak peak into Kakum and Elmina - A truly exciting and memorable experience.Kwame was a knowledgeable guide and friend who made the the trip worthwhile. Being from Elmina, he had a lot to share. The canopy walk at Kakum National Park is one of its kind a must do if you want to feel the dense rainforest and enjoy its vast beauty. Kakum and Elmina are steeped in history and alongside the natural beauty of the place, Kwame's company made it even more interesting. I definitely recommend Citizen tours if you really want to enjoy Ghana. I for one will definitely go with them for all future tours.
