Upon arrival, the tour will visit the Tetteh Quarshie Farm, the birthplace of cocoa in Ghana. Established in 1878, this experimental farm played a pivotal role in making Ghana the leading cocoa producer from 1910 to 1980.
The tour continues to the Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana (CRIG) for a guided exploration of the various laboratories and experimental cocoa farms. Visitors will discover the amazing products derived from cocoa.
After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant, the tour returns to Accra.
