Take advantage of this unique class to receive additional drum lessons and other regional instrumental instruction from the locals. Enjoy some local songs with the community while you immerse yourself in the local music. The Djembe repertoire includes several traditional rhythms, and our classes introduce you to many of these rhythms, which are then developed and expanded upon as you progress. These traditional rhythms were originally played to celebrate traditional festivals and important ceremonial occasions but are now performed for entertainment.
