This rewarding trek offers stunning views and embodies the saying in Ghana: “If you can conquer Mount Afadja, then you can conquer the world.” Travel to a women’s pottery cooperative in Kpando, nestled within lush forests, to observe the production of traditional African ceramic goods. For an additional fee, you can participate in a traditional Naming Ceremony at the Chief’s palace, complete with vibrant drumming and dancing, while adorned in Kente. Continue your journey to Ntonso village for an engaging Adinkra stamping activity. Create your own textile strip by stamping various Adinkra symbols, each carrying its own meaning. Assin Manso Ancestral Slave River Park - Assin Manso Slave River, the former slave cemetery and market. You will get to see how slaves were bathed before being shipped to the castles to wait to be shipped. This trip leads you through the slavery path.

Continue your coastal drive, aiming to arrive in Accra before dark. Take the opportunity for some last-minute shopping and say your goodbyes to the friends you’ve made during your stay. Finally, you’ll be dropped off at the airport two hours before your flight time for a smooth departure.
