Our journey continued to Paleokastritsa, a place that seemed to be painted by the gods themselves. The natural beauty of this area is unparalleled, with its crystal-clear waters and countless little bays. It is said that Odysseus was washed ashore here, and standing on the beach, I could almost feel the whispers of ancient myths in the air.

The 13th-century Monastery of Virgin Mary perched on a hilltop offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Although the waters were too rough for a boat ride that day, the experience of dipping my toes in the emerald waters was enough to connect me with the essence of this magical place. The tranquility of the monastery, combined with the stunning vistas, made it a highlight of the tour.
