It is conveniently reachable by road. The charming sandy beach is almost entirely free of pebbles along its entire stretch.
- Tsigrado Beach - Nestled between cliffs on the southern coast of the island, Tsigrado Beach is among the most picturesque beaches on Milos. This secluded beach is encircled by steep cliffs, caves, shimmering blue waters, and white sand dotted with pebbles. Tsigrado is known for the challenging access by land, untouched by human development. Descending is not advised for those who are faint-hearted, young children, or individuals with mobility challenges.
- Παραλία Γέρακας - Gerakas Bay, located on the southern coast of Milos, boasts emerald-colored waters and is surrounded by stunning natural white rock formations. The area is renowned for its large sand-slides caused by Perlite and is accessible only by boat. Its waters exhibit the most vibrant turquoise hue imaginable. Gerakas Beach, with its spectacular clear waters and towering volcanic cliffs, is a must-visit and undoubtedly one of Milos’ finest beaches.
- Παραλία Γέροντας - Gerontas Beach is found on the southwest shore of Milos. It is a pristine, hidden treasure with awe-inspiring natural beauty. It is considered one of the most beautiful beaches on the island’s southern coast. The arch-shaped rock between the water and the land is its most notable feature. This lovely small cove is surrounded by towering white cliffs, dark sand, crystal-clear blue sea, and fascinating caves to explore. Despite its remote location, it draws a significant number of visitors during the summer months.
- Kleftiko - Kleftiko is celebrated for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and striking white rock formations and caves. Known as “The Bandits’ Lair,” it was once a pirate hideout and is now one of Milos’ top tourist destinations. Kleftiko is accessible only by boat. A visit to Milos is incomplete without experiencing Kleftiko at least once.
- Sikia Beach - Sikia is one of Milos’ most stunning sea caves. Once entirely covered, Sikia Cave’s roof collapsed at some point in the past, resulting in a breathtaking cave with an open top revealing the blue Aegean sky. Inside the cave, there is a small beach. Swimming is allowed inside the cave, but be aware that the water is extremely cold due to the limited light and deep waters. It is located in the southwest corner of the island and is accessible only by boat.
