Our first stop is Adadi Maryam, a church built in the 12th and 13th centuries. The church’s history is linked to St. Lalibela, who, during his visit to the sacred mountain of Ziquala in the 12th century, constructed the church in honor of St. Mary.
- Tiya World Heritage Site - Next, we will visit the UNESCO-registered Tiya World Heritage Site, one of the most significant among the approximately 160 archaeological sites found in the Soddo region, south of Addis Ababa. The site features 36 monuments, including 32 carved stelae adorned with symbols that are mostly difficult to interpret. These stelae are remnants of an ancient Ethiopian culture whose exact age remains undetermined. Afterward, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
