Fantastic experience in Addis - I just had an amazing day with Teddy (guide) and Addis (driver). I only had one day in Addis, and this tour was an excellent experience. Alex communicated very promptly and I explained to him what my preferences were for the day. Teddy and Addisu picked me up from the hotel in the morning, and they arrived even before the time. I visited many things during the day, and I really got to see different parts of the city, and have an authentic experience of Addis. Teddy was excellent: he was very knowledgable and he was very generous in explaining everything. He speaks English and French fluently. Addisu was an excellent driver. After finishing every stop, we find him ready for us: we did not waste a single minute during the day. They were very accommodating, and they accepted to make an additional stop at the stadium, as I wanted to go to a leather shop there, which I really appreciated. I was very impressed with their humility, professionalism, and welcome! I would strongly recommend them for anyone wishing to have an authentic trip in Addis.

Amazing guide - We had the pleasure of having Alex as our guide during our time in Addis Abeba and its surroundings, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we met him, Alex’s warm and kind demeanor made us feel at ease. He truly takes care of his guests, going above and beyond to ensure everyone feels comfortable and enjoys every moment of the tour.
Alex is highly knowledgeable about Ethiopian culture, history, and traditions. He shared fascinating insights and stories at every stop, making the tour both engaging and enriching. We left with a much deeper understanding of Ethiopia, thanks to him. And want to explore more!
Safety was clearly a top priority for Alex, and we felt completely secure throughout the journey. He was always attentive to details and ensured everything ran smoothly. The tour itself was ultra-complete, covering a variety of highlights and hidden gems we wouldn’t have discovered on our own.
To top it all off, Alex is genuinely one of the nicest people we’ve met on our travels. His passion for his country and his dedication to his guests shine through in everything he does. We wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone visiting Ethiopia—you won’t be disappointed!

Recommended day tour of Addis Ababa. - This a brilliant day tour in a car with Alex as my guide. We go up to the old palace overlooking the city and St Mary’s church, the market, a restaurant for a traditional meal and coffee, before heading to the National museum to see Lucy. Highly recommended.

Perfect way to spend a layover and learn about Ethiopia from the best of the best - Our tour of Addis Ababa with Alex was fantastic!! Alex and the driver were able to pick and drop us off at the transit hotel which was very seamless, as we were only in Addis Ababa for a 17 hour layover. The tour itself was incredible. Alex is extremely knowledgeable of Ethiopia and its history. It was a pleasure to learn from him. Key highlights were the Merkato market, authentic Ethiopian lunch with honey wine, coffee ceremonies, and the museum tours. Alex was also very flexible with the itinerary and allowed us to do a little shopping, taking home a one of a kind souvenir. We will definitely contact Alex again when we return to Ethiopia. Thank you!

Addis Ababa authentic tour with Alex - The authentic tour around Addis Ababa with Alex was excellent. This is the best way how to experience the whole city in just one day. Alex is such a nice gentleman, very knowledgeable about Ethiopian history and culture. He took the best care of us and we very much Thank him for everything. 🙏🏼

Great Day Trip in Addis Ababa with Alex - Alex’s knowledge and hospitality are truly remarkable. I was well taken care of throughout the day during my sightseeing tour in Addis Ababa.
Unlike the typical tour guide, Alex tailored his explanations of Ethiopian history and cultural background to match my understanding, making everything easy to grasp.
I also appreciated how flexible he was in organizing the day according to what kind of experience I wanted, offering various options and making adjustments as needed.
Visiting places are like Ta’eka Negest Be’ata Lemariam Monastery, Entoto Museum and mountain, and enjoying a Taj drink, etc. Alex shared insightful information about modern-day Ethiopia, as well.
Although it rained in the early morning, we were fortunate to avoid most of it and had a wonderful day. Alex’s guiding paired with the excellent driving around Addis made for a great combination. Highly recommended!

A Tour YOU MUST take in Addis Ababa! - The Private city Tour I took was absolutely wonderful! Alex speaks perfect English and was very knowledgeable, patient and informative. I enjoyed learning about Addis Ababa's history, culture and food. I went to a traditional Ethiopian restaurant, which was spectacular! I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who can spare few hours in Addis and will not regret getting to know this beautiful, safe and rich in culture city!

Great Learning Experience - What an amazing learning experience! Alex is so passionate and knowledgeable, and I wish we had more time together. I'm certainly looking forward to returning and using their services. Alex and his team were very patient with me as I navigated the airport and wifi access to contact them. I'd recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn and have a good during a quick layover.
