Would 100% recommend - Experience was amazing! Luel and Haylabe were excellent and informative tour guides! Got to see way more of the city than if I was alone, with information on every step of the way.

One of a lifetime experience in Addis Ababa - It was one of a lifetime experience for me at Addis Ababa with Addis Ethiopia Tours and my guide Luel. I had my 1st tour scheduled for Sunday, but since it was a big holiday day and most of the locations for the city tour were closed I was offered to move the excursion to another day (since I had a whole day still on Wednesday before my flight). Instead I was offered another tour to Debre Zeit, since I asked for something still to do on Sunday. The lakes are wonderful and it was such a relaxing trip outside the city. I got to know more about Ethiopian nature. Luel was great , his English is wonderful and his knowledge of Ethiopian history is also very pleasant. The driver was also a good professional. At the Addis Ababa city tour we visited a lot of interesting places like the Ethnological Museum, the Addis Ababa Museum, the Entoto Park (I was willing to pay extra 10 dollars for the entrance and it was totally worth it), St.Georges Church, had dinner at one of the oldest restaurants in Addis Ababa and coffee at the Ethiopia-Djibouti railway station. My tour was personified for my preferences and made me feel special. Next time I come to Addis Ababa, I will definitely contact Addis Ethiopa Tours and Luel so see some more interesting places. Highly recommending.

Addis Ababa Day Tour - Luel was a great guide and Nebeyu was a great driver. Tour included multiple museums, a tour of a historic church, the Merkato market, a traditional Ethiopian lunch and coffee and a scenic view of Addis. All were amazing— the lunch and the market tour were my favorites. A great way to spend a 24hr layover in Addis.

Amazing tour, highly recommend! - That was a great tour! I was the only person in the tour, and we were driving around for 6 hours stopping in different places (Mercato is a very special place for sure!) The guide Luel is super knowledgeable and nice, he told me a ton about Ethiopian history and answered all my (many) questions. Can’t recommend this tour enough! One tip: make sure to take some small cash in birrs, would be helpful to tip in a couple of places. I had some cash but very little, so it was enough for tips but not enough to buy souvenirs, so Luel paid for the souvenirs and I paid him back later in USD, so at least have USD cash with you.

This was a fantastic tour... - This was a fantastic tour of key attractions in Addis Ababa. Luel was a fantastic guide, he was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and really made this experience stand out compared to other tours I've take in the past in other places. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to get a real feeling for the city in a short time!

Good way to appreciate Addis centre. - Luel and his driver provided a tour that met expectations in our knowledge that the National Museum was closed as undergoing renovation. The Ethnological museum, Entoto view (no park entry), Mercato visit including time to walk through part and St George’s were all included alongside drive-bys of other monuments with photo opportunities if traffic allows. St George’s is also undergoing renovation but open and viewing is unimpaired. Lunch stop included - choice given local or international. We selected former - huge portions.

Addis Ababa city tour - Overall, highly recommend! The tour was fun and great way to experience Addis Ababa. Our guide, Luel, was very friendly, highly accommodating, and knowledgeable of the city. Our driver, Hayleab, was punctual and skilled at navigating the city. The tour started w/ a panorama view of the city from Entoto. Luel then guided us through the Ethnological Museum in Addis Ababa university and then masterfully gave us a glimpse of chaos of Merkato Market. Then we had a great meal at Addis Ababa Restaurant and coffee at a local shop. The only thing less than amazing was the local guide that took us through St. George Church spoke a little too fast and did not give us time to really experience the church and ask questions. Otherwise, it was a great day!

One day tour during long layover - I had a 18 hours long layover in Addis Ababa, hence I decided to join this one day tour to briefly know the history of the country and have a glance at the capital. In general, it was great to see all significant places which the city can offer, I especially like the small local coffee place where the lady owner cooks coffee beans in front of you. The coffee was indeed delicious. - Since The national museum is closed due to the renovation, it said they would bring you to Addis Ababa museum instead. But in the end, they did not bring us there, also no any explanation from a guide. The price for one person is much more higher, so I thought I would be the only participant, however they put me with other people altogether. I don't know why they charge more for solo participant. Personally, in the end I felt it is a bit pricey. I wish the lunch was also included, since most participants join the tour because of long layover, therefore not many of them have a local currently to pay. Most of the places which were mentioned in the iternary, we just passed by without actual visiting - monuments, squares etc.
