We're SO glad we had a GishAbay Addis Ababa layover tour - Our layover tour was fantastic, and Ethiopia was full of wonderful people snd places!! Teddy was great at texting us until we got thru airport complications and we were so glad to see him in the parking area waiting for us with a smile. We liked the itinerary he set for us to accommodate for the shorter time we had because of the airport delays. Teddy shared all the things we'd hoped for including the city's history, views from Entoto, new building development, and a great meal. It was especially a nice surprise to see and join on the edges of the Epiphany celebration. Teddy and our driver were wonderful hosts. Thank you all for a GREAT day in Addus Ababa during our flight layover!!! Travelers should check to understand the hotel voucher and/or minimum stay requirements for immigration to approve travelers to leave the airport. We had no problem getting a hotel voucher at the airport customer service desk. We'll tell our friends to visit Ethiopia and to use GishAbay tours!!

Wonderful Day in Addis - This was the most incredible tour. I was greeted warmly at the airport and taken to some beautiful sights, including historic churches and a gorgeous mountain viewpoint. My day ended with a traditional meal and some delicious coffee. Would recommend Henok and Sutan 100%

Experience in Ethiopia Addis Ababa - The tour was nice and Henok was well informative in his culture, religion and politics of Ethiopia. A friendly and well spoken individual. It’s amazing how African is diverse. He further to our to local shop for food and had tea and coffee. Can’t fault him in any how, however our time was short. Next time we will have to take this for 8 hours

Very Fun! Highly Recommend! - I am so happy I did this tour. I was a solo traveler and had a layover. I wanted to do a short city tour and this was exactly what I was looking for! Henok was very informative, he knows so much about his home country! Very much appreciated his presence and showing me around Addis Ababa! Highly recommend!

Great way to spend a layover - I had a 7 hour layover on my way to Kilimanjaro. They made things extremely easy and stress free. They met me at the airport and dropped me off in time for my flight. I learned so much about Ethiopia and had a great lunch and coffee.

Must-do, Addis Ababa! - Very interesting tour with a lot of information. Henok is a brilliant guide that is absolutely committed to ensuring your tailored excursion is the perfect snapshot experience of Ethiopian culture and Addis Ababa! I can't recommend this enough!!!

Perfect Layover Tour - I had a 14 hour layover in Addis Ababa and decided to make the most of it. I learned so much about the Ethiopian culture and history from Henok and Liban. Henok made sure to give me all the history and answer all the questions I could possibly come up with. Liban successfully navigated the chaos of Addis Ababa with ease. They both have convinced me I must do a longer trip to Ethiopia in the future. Can’t wait to be back.

Amazing Tour With Henok - I highly recommend this tour! Henok is an amazing tour guide. He is incredibly kind and fun and has a deep knowledge of Ethiopian history and culture. I especially joined the trips to the Mercato and the St. Mary’s Memorial Church. St. Mary’s had some of the most beautiful art and architecture I’ve seen in Africa and a number of giant tortoises roaming the grounds if you enjoy wildlife. The trip to the Mercato was a great look into the Ethiopian culture. Henok showed me an amazing view overlooking the entire market and we wandered the streets smelling and tasting various spices. I could not recommend this tour more!
