Amazing Layover Tour of Addis Ababa - The Addis Ababa Layover Tour with my tour guide, Henok, was absolutely amazing. Since I had a ten hour layover, I had a free hotel from Ethiopian Airlines. Henok arrived at my hotel early and waited while I freshened up after my long flight. We got started at 8am. We went to the National Museum, Mount Entoto, lunch and a few other sights. Henok was extremely informative, pleasant and easy to get along with. The food at Addis Ababa Restaurant was simply amazing and he was able to assist in my request to grab souvenirs for my loved ones. I hope to visit Ethiopia again and if I do, I will definitely use this company again.

Unique experience - had a great time during the Addis Ababa stopover tour. The reservation process and pickup were smooth despite an early hour. My guide Henok was very knowledgeable and passionate about Ethiopian culture and history and I couldn't ask for a better person to show me around We went to several unique places, including a private tour to see the treasures of the Holy Trinity Cathedral and understand the Ethiopian Orthodox religion. We had traditional food and coffee at great spots. I loved that the tour was very flexible, adjusted to the interests I expressed and the time of my layover. I wish could spend more time in Ethiopia, but hope to come back and explore more of this magical country. I would repeat the tour and services of my guide with no doubts.

Thanks so much! - Just incredible! Henok was my guide and he did a spectacular job - really pulled out all the stops. I’m very grateful. He had heaps of knowledge of the local area and wider country, and tailored the tour to suit what I was interested in. I would wholeheartedly recommend.

Nice day tour - I have had my day tour with Henok as guide and Samy as driver. Because Holy Trinity Church is under construction, we went to Saint Mary's church. This was quiet interesting. Also the museum and the mercato are worth seeing. The driver drove safely through the traffic. Because of raining season the view from Entoto was not clear. The local food and the traditional coffee ceremony have been interesting as well, especially the location. Henok spoke English very well, answered all my questions and was a hd ambassador for his country which seems to be a place for a longer stay. Thank you both.

Recommended: preparation and seriousness for a taste of Ethiopia - We were in Addis Ababa for a stopover from 10 in the morning to 8 in the evening. our guide Tedy and our driver Sami were immediately friendly as they waited for us for three hours (our flight was delayed). They picked us up directly at the hotel and took us on a beautiful tour of this African metropolis, from the mountains of Entoto park, to the chaos of the Merkato streets, from the national history museum, to the main churches and squares. Tedy is very knowledgeable about the history of the country and the geographical realities of the city, while when driving through the busy streets of the city he can continuously explain the history of the buildings you see. For lunch they took us to a beautiful typical restaurant to taste traditional dishes and drinks, we paid 40 euros for four people. During the tour you can buy spices, handicrafts or coffee. Also highly recommended for those who, like us, have little time, but don't want to miss a taste of this part of Africa. We will certainly return to discover Ethiopia in more depth.

how to make the most of a long stopover in addis ababa - We spent a beautiful day in Addis Ababa, thanks to the guide Teddy and the driver Sami. They waited for us due to the flight delay but then we were able to spend a long and beautiful day: National Museum, the Mountain, a fantastic lunch in a typical Ethiopian restaurant! Walking around the Market is very challenging but the guide was very professional and took care of us. Teddy is a kind and knowledgeable person, absolutely recommended!!

Nice layover trip. - Henok was our guide. He is a very positive guy, fluent in English. I also liked our driver's work (sorry I forgot his name), especially in the harsh Mercado conditions . Overall we are happy with our Addis layover trip: we liked beautiful church and big (1 meter long) turtles around it. View from the mountain was not breathtaking, but nice. Museum was interesting enough, if you, like me interested in history. Authentic lunch was pricey and not tasty, but it was expected: TBH, we rarely like autentic dishes anywhere outside Europe. It is just too diffefent for our stomachs. But we liked authentic coffee with some weed: it was interesting combination. We felt safe all the time. One thing which can be improved is communication. We have troubles to meet the guide. Since the person who reads the messages in the app is not a Guide and he reads it with sufficient delay. So I suggest you to take a WhatsApp number of the guide beforehand.
