Day 1
Drive to Awash National Park, established in 1966, the Park is home to more than 80 species of mammals and 450 species of birds, with major attractions like the Filwuha hot spring, hyenas caves, the Fentale volcanic cracks, Awash Falls and Fentale crater. Trek along the Awash River and game drive, where large herds of Beisa Oryx and Gazelle roam.
Overnight at Hotel/ Lodge.
Day 2
Climb Mt.Fentale (2007 m) or swim at the hot springs in a natural blue water swimming pool. Drive back to Addis.

Situated in the Rift Valley, Awash National Park is home to a diverse range of plains wildlife and offers tremendous birdwatching opportunities, with over 400 species recorded here.
The park covers an area of 756 square kilometres, comprised mainly of acacia and grassland, but with an interesting range of volcanic landscapes. In the open areas and grass plains you should see grazing zebra alongside Beisa oryx, kudu, Soemmerring’s gazelle and Swayne’s hartebeest.
