• Debre Libanos - After breakfast, we’ll collect you from your accommodation and commence our journey northward from Addis Ababa. Our route takes us through the scenic Entoto Hills, which provide a panoramic view of the capital. Along the way, we’ll pause to savor a traditional buna (coffee) or shai (tea). There will be plenty of opportunities to stop and appreciate the picturesque surroundings, interact with locals engaged in their day-to-day activities, and capture the moments with photographs. By late morning, we’ll approach Debre Libanos, where we’ll check into our hotel and enjoy a meal with a stunning view of the Jemma River Gorge. Post-lunch, our exploration of Debre Libanos begins. We’ll visit the monastery and its newly inaugurated museum. A brief but steep hike will take us to the cave where Saint Tekle Haimanot prayed. As the afternoon wanes, we’ll take a leisurely stroll from our hotel to the historic Ras Darge’s bridge.
