The Red Terror Museum was a stark contrast, offering a sobering account of Ethiopia’s recent history. Guided by a survivor of the Red Terror, I was moved by the resilience and strength of the Ethiopian people. The Vibrant Pulse of Mercato Market

No visit to Addis Ababa would be complete without a trip to Mercato, Africa’s largest open-air market. The vibrant energy of the market was infectious, with vendors selling everything from traditional clothing to fresh produce. It was a sensory overload, a feast for the eyes and ears.

As I navigated the bustling stalls, I couldn’t help but admire the craftsmanship and artistry on display. Each item told a story, a reflection of the rich cultural heritage of Ethiopia. The day concluded with a traditional coffee ceremony, a fitting end to a journey through the heart of Addis Ababa. As I sipped the rich, aromatic brew, I reflected on the day’s experiences.
